Evxellent! This product hit on so many areas. Unbelievable, teaching 3 and 4 year olds about the calendar. The product cards that could with it is astounding. It is a must buy for all children. I thought my 3 and 4 year the date they were born, the difference between today, tomorrow and yesterday.

I love the look of this pocket chart calendar. It’s perfect for my home preschool. I like that includes most holidays and is overall visually appealing. I did think it was a bit strange that the company has not updated which years are included as 2021-2023 were still in the package. My only thing that I may change and would recommend from a teacher perspective is changing the order of today, yesterday, tomorrow to be yesterday, today, tomorrow. The order is quite confusing for young students and logically makes more sense.

This calendar is a great value for the money. The cards are thick and durable. The color scheme is nice and will fit any classroom. This calendar is huge and is easily seen from any desk in the classroom. It is a great learning tool for daily use.

This seems to have pretty much everything we needed to learn / teach about the calendar, months of the year, days of the week, yesterday, today, tomorrow, weather... it's got a lot. I like the fact it has blank cards so we can add special days of our own like grandparents day, friendship day, arbor day. We don't actually celebrate these but who knows, maybe we will at some point. :) I like that the numbers for days are double-sided with red and black. I put the days that have already passed on black and the current day as well as those coming up in red so they can get a better visual.Some things I found were that since there are a lot (!) of cards to be stored when they're not in use the pockets at the bottom aren't really big enough to hold everything inside. My solution was to turn most of the longer cards on their sides and just left them vertical. No biggie for me but that might bother someone who has to have everything out of sight if it's not being utilized. Another thing I did was to separate the school cards (100th day, 1st day, "no school" days,) the holidays, & the cards for other things like birthdays (cakes or balloons & hats) and flags for federal holidays. I put them into 3 separate sandwich bags so they wouldn't get mixed up together and then just put them in the yellow bags at the bottom of the calendar.One thing I noticed was I had to throw out several year cards. I got rid of 2006, 2007, 2008, & 2009 with one swift toss into the recycling bin. Time sure flies sometimes. Maybe it would have been better to have 4 slots available to insert for the year instead of just one card, but I wasn't on the team for product development. There are still 4 or 5 years left to go before they run out too. But honestly my only real gripe about this product is that it doesn't include any hardware to hang it up. I managed with screws through the holes at the top though.The material seems very durable and should stand up to my 4 quite well. Overall this is a great investment (and fun too.)**update 6/18/2012**We are still using this even though the kids are a bit older. With our youngest not yet in school, she's still exposed to the concept of days, weeks... when we update this. We use it to help the older ones with times tables: If you have x amount of weeks which are 7 days each, how many days is that? It's not an everyday thing anymore but the kids still enjoy it and who could ask for more than that?

The media could not be loaded. Bought this calendar for my very visual four year old. It’s been of great help. It is not however recommended to have at arm’s length reach of a two year old. He’s very tented to reach for the number or seasons which can easily rip the pockets. It’s also not great with expo markers.

This is an incredible classroom calendar. I love that the calendar part is made out of the cloth like material and very sturdy. The cardboard pieces that go in the slots are great, but could be laminated. I don't have a laminator so I won't be able to laminate. But I recommend if you plan to use this for the foreseeable future to get it laminated. The calendar also comes with a series of 'years' printed. However.. it starts at 2017.. which is already three years out-of-date. For the cost, I would have thought it would have been updated more recently. There thankfully are some blank cards for the years which will be helpful once we run out of the cards printed. I love that that this calendar comes with many pieces to put on different dates on the calendar, like birthdays and holidays. I love that you can check the weather and today's day of the week, yesterday, and tomorrow. I love that you can check the outside weather and remind your students what season it is. This calendar is very versatile and will get a lot of use. I am personally using it for home use with my children but if I taught younger children this would be in my classroom. Overall, great find and I am very pleased with this calendar.
