Perfect Sleeve to Hold FreeStyle LIbre Bluetooth Device Miao Miao
I use these arm bands less to hold my iPhone and more to hold the Bluetooth Reader "Miao Miao" on top of my flash glucose sensor, FreeStyle Libre, but these HiRui arm bands work well in both cases. The *key* to these arm bands and what makes them superior to other similar arm bands is the section of silicone no-slip dots inside the sleeve. They keep the arm band on my arm and above the elbow. My arms are 12.5" and 13" in width:To snugly hold either phone or diabetic devices, I use the size Medium. This size ensures that the arm band will not slip down. I put the band on first, then add my iPhone 10 that is inside an Otter Box (phone in first works too). However, after a long day of wear, the Medium can be a little constricting to my arm and I have a pattern of dots on my arm after removal. This would only be an issue if you wear it for diabetic devices or other reason that have you wearing it for > 8 hours. To more loosely hold my diabetic devices, I use the size Large. The Large sleeve stays put with its silicone beads. I use this size arm band for around the house and when I sleep. It will still hold my iPhone on my arm.NOTE 1: I use either an elastic band by Miao Miao or a 3D printed holder to keep the Miao Miao Bluetooth device in place on top of the sensor underneath the arm band. Without these, it is possible for the Miao Miao to fall out, especially with the looser fitting Large size.NOTE 2: I use these arm bands for walking and low impact activities. I have not used these arm bands during activities that may jostle contents, such as running or significant arm movement. However, the pocket with top cover does completely envelope my iPhone 10, so I suspect the only issue, if any, may be slippage, not the phone coming out.For care, I wash these gently with detergent made for delicates and hang dry.I have all 4 colors of these bands and own 4 Medium and 2 Large bands so that I always have a clean band. The colors are much brighter than shown in the pictures. The pink is bright neon pink, the yellow is bright neon yellow and the blue is a deeper sky blue. The arm bands are well made and have two skinny pockets that go almost the length of the band and one large pocket for a phone. The latter also has a small hole with a well protected edge to enable corded earbuds to thread through. I'm not sure of the intention of the skinny pockets, but I use them for my chapstick.Lastly, I appreciate the reflective pattern on the phone pocket, which has held up to multiple washing and months of use, whereas other brands lost their reflective writings within a few uses.Overall, I highly recommend these arm bands for securing both phone and diabetic devices. I have 3 other types and brands of arm bands, and these work the best for me.

Best for walking exercises...
I have read some reviews that suggest to order a "size down" from the chart size recommendations as the band will slip down while running. My arm measured 28 cm, which is the max setting for the medium band. I would NOT have been able to get the medium band on my upper arm with my current iPhone. Ordering the large band was the right choice for me. The phone did not move about and the band did not slide down during my walks (only). However, during my spot runs, I could feel the phone move down my arm toward my elbow. Again, this only occurred during my spot runs. Personally, I do not think this would be the arm band of choice for any full time runners. For those like me that mostly walk , I found the band itself quite comfortable to wear and the sizing chart accurate for my needs. With the fold-over flap, there are no zippers to break and the phone will not fall out while on your arm. That was a major plus for my going with this design. I do not run with ear buds, so I can not offer any input there regarding those that attach to the phone itself. I hope that helps. Walking: Thumbs Up/// Running: No.

Measure your arm before purchase
I just got the sleeve, so of course I examined and tested it before working out. It's appears well made and thought out. Breathable material, good stitching, non-slick dots on the inside for sweat, can use touch screen through material with relative ease, and the pocket for device feels safe.I got the large size thinking that it wouldn't fit me. I'm a 250lb, 5'11" male, my non-dominant arm (where the sleeve is) is nearly the size of a 10lb roll of ground beef, I have more to love. That's where my activities become limited. When I slid on the sleeve I noticed it was snug, which makes sense. It's to help prevent the device and sleeve from sliding over your elbow or to stop the irritation of constantly adjusting it mid activity. But this large sleeve, in order to not have it over my inside elbow is very high, 1 inch above elbow is half inch below armpit, it will be soaked with sweat everyday.I was hoping to use this sleeve for ALL exercise activities, but that is NOT so. The activities listed in the description of the product for the most part is true for the sleeve. Running, cycling, outdoor, traveling, lightweight activities. It's the weight lifting (gym workouts) that doesn't work out for me. Free weights or machines its the same thing for me. After some reps I notice that my muscles are straining against the sleeve, as if someone is squeezing my arm against my flex. I worry about the long term, excessive use of this product for my body.Overall a good product for light weight activities.

Poor fit, cumbersome to access the phone.
I noted the comments that said sizes run small, so I measured my bicep and ordered one that just barely met my size hoping for a nice snug fit. Nope. It's loose and floppy with an iPhone 12 mini in it. The grippy texture on the inside doesn't grip skin, but it will grab a microfiber shirt in a heartbeat, and pull your sleeve down. The pouch is difficult to get the phone into. That's OK if you won't use it during a workout, but if you need to use the phone in the middle of a workout you have to stop, strip the whole thing off, pry it out and then struggle with wet sweaty material to try to get it back in. Not expensive, and still just not worth it.
