More people should know about this product! 5 Stars all day
The entire world of effects pedals and other music gear runs off 9V, so this cable lets you power all of those devices from the ever abundant USB port. Awesome product. Comes with a (Boss pedal sized) 5.5mm DC plug along with an adapter with a 4mm plug. I originally found out about this cable from a random blog that described running an entire pedalboard off a USB battery for gigs. Smart!

This is just with the doctor ordered! Works well in powering up my Volca keys!

Awkward adapter included
Was sold as a fit for the Korg Volca series of synths. What is not at all obvious is that the fit is made by a rather awkwardly shaped adapter that goes between the USB power converter and the Korg. It appears to be the one from the "myVolts Crazy Chain" line of adapters. The issue however is the permanently attached pigtail that branches off the device end. The end result is you have two cables running from the power input of the Korg. On my Volca FM this ends up either covering the power switch or the display screen depending on the orientation. In addition you the right angle plug from the USB device itself one inch away from the power input. it's just a messy solution, and not the nice simple USB to device solution it presents itself. I'm on the fence about returning.

NO VOLCA FM
It does NOT fit a volca FM, it does however come with a daisy chain adapter that fits, and then leaves you with a live barrel plug dangling in the breeze and blocking the power button or display or the sliders no matter how you orient it, it will be in the way. And it's clear they just want you to buy more of these cables to attach to gear you may or may not even have. Just add up to 10 volcas! Sure, that sounds nice, can I have 1000 dollars to help buy them or COULD YOU JUST MAKE IT THE RIGHT SIZE!?!?!?!?!?

It's a Crap Shoot With These
I really want to like this product, however - I've had to return 3 of them so far. Two of them arrived and were defective (didn't work at all). The other item stopped working after a few months and I can't even return it for an exchange or refund. Twenty five bucks is not a whole lot of cash but there are better things I can do with it then buying defective products.
