This is really a high quality product, design, fit and finish.I checked for stainless with a magnet (not all stainless is non magnet but common grades are). This ladder is all fine and really nicely executed.It will look great on our Little Harbor 38.

Nice construction overall. Welds are smooth and have good tie-in without excessive undercutting like is sometimes on these production SS tubing things. Was surprised to see the hooks rotate so it will lay flat. Also glad they didn’t bother to give me screws to mount it that I would just end up throwing away. It’s solid and I didn’t feel any extra flexing under my 190 lbs. Would recommend!

I ordered this ladder on 16 July 2020. I received it on 24 July with Prime free delivery. It is an excellent, sturdy ladder, good quality metal, welds, hardware, and rubber caps. The ladder was boxed in a relatively sturdy box which was not torn nor smashed when it arrived. But, there was no packing material around the ladder, so I am sure it bounced around quite a bit during its journey. The ladder was shipped with the lower section folded up and clipped to the upper section with the same clips that are intended to be used for this purpose over the life of the ladder. While they do seem to be sturdy clips, one of them was severely cracked to the point that when I pulled on the lower ladder section, the clip completely broke. It seems like a pretty heavy duty clip, but just isn't up to the job of handling being bounced around in shipping. I messaged Marine City on the 24th (Friday) and received a message back from them on the 27th (Monday), apologizing for the problem and promising to send me the clip "right away". Now, 10 days later, no clip has arrived and no further messages. So, I have re-messaged them. Overall, an excellent product, at an excellent price, but, unfortunately, their lack of packing material, lack of promptness and lack of communication have cost me several hours of my time. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars. I compared their price to what seemed like similar products online and found that this item was $100 to $150 less- almost so much cheaper that I suspected it might be substandard. Now that I have seen the product, I cannot imagine that it could be any better built. On my 16-foot bowrider, the five steps go well down into the water making it very easy to climb into the boat, even for a large or tall person. I am not using the deck mounting hardware hardware that came with it since the hooks are just the right diameter to hook over the sides of my boat. However, you should know that the ladder comes with zero directions and has no instructions on the Amazon profile (and the product cannot be found on Marine City's website), so if you're not the handy type, you may need to search the internet for a diagram of how the provided mounting plates and backing plates are used.7Aug2020 update, today's message from Marine City: We are currently trying to get a replacement clip for your item. This is a nice ladder. It is sturdy, nice finish and heavy materials. Only thing missing was instructions for assembly and use. Wondering what the small black clips are for.

Sturdy build but there is rust on some of the components that aren't true stainless in salt water. Still a great value for the price.
