A great night vision alternative for an amazing price.
There are many of these types listed. They are not all the same. This system uses compression rings to mount on your scope. It comes with adapters for most sizes. This one also fit on one of my illuminated reticle scopes. The other type with set screws does not fit solidly. This unit has photo, video and sound recording as well a both day and night vision.IT DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERIES. It clearly states that in the add. What I really like about its overall design is that my eyesight is not what it used to be. By projecting on the screen I only have to focus on the screen and do not have to attempt to align my eye with the scope itself. I use a rifle stand (Lead Sled) to hold the rifle and make the adjustments with the sled. With the camera, screen and infrared light connect to the scope it is a bit heavy and not the easiest to handle but using the Lead Sled that is not an issue.I am not sure this would hold up on a high powered rifle but for pellet guns and 22s it seems ideal. I had purchased different one of these cameras that was cheaper and it did not have a recording capability, used set screws to mount the camera, however, it did work as a night vision with my scope and I will use it for rodent control. This scope I'm reviewing here was only $10 more and well worth the difference.

Works and is good for the price.
I purchased this product for the night vision factor. The shipping is a lot faster than i expected coming about a month and a half earlier than expected.Quick and easy to install. The video quality isn't the best, but it gets the job done. The only con i find is light can glare on the camera coming through the holes to focus the camera.

It works but has problems
The media could not be loaded. The unit was fulfilled by Amazon, so the shipping and packing was awesome. It actually arrived early and the box the unit came in; came wrapped entirely in bubble wrap. I've been using this for about two weeks now and it sort of works. I purchased this to do pest control around the yard mostly at night and to record those encounters. I have it attached to my air rifle scope. I like the day mode, it's clear and in color and an added feature over the DIY night vision I was using before. The night vision works fine enough. I can see out pass 50 yards, up close and in total darkness; with the IR illuminator it comes with. I'm not crazy about the purple tint the night vision has on the screen. Not a deal breaker, just a personal preference. I prefer the Grayish tint. The reason I gave this product only two stars, is the video and audio are not synchronized. The audio has a 10 to 15 second lag on video. I find this very annoying and makes it difficult to watch the video. I have to mute the audio just to watch the video. Besides from throwing the video off, the audio lag causes an extended recording effect which causes the audio to continue to record after the video has stopped. This is also extremely annoying to see the video stopped and the sound is still playing. If you are picky with your equipment or hunting gear, I do not recommend this product. If you're not picky and can live with the sound on your videos always being off, then this will fit the bill. If you're like me and are only a little picky but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a day/night scope, then this one will get the job done. It's a shame really, because this could be so much better. I hope they eventually get it right.****Update 2/28/21****The seller, Night Crystal, reached out to me with solutions to the audio / video issues I was having. Did you hear what I said!?! They contacted me without me having to contact them. What a great company. Contacting costumers who do not contact you and you contact them to resolve issue based on a crummy review on a website. That speaks volumes about your company. Thanks again Max and kudos to your company!!! Although your suggestion didn't fix the problem, it did make it a lot better. The video and audio is off by a second instead of the 10 to 15 using the Mp 4 player. By the way, make sure you're using VLC Media Player for your videos. This type of customer service is hard to come by these days so I will definitely buy from Night Crystal again.****Update 07/072021*****Alright guys, I've had this unit for 5 months now and it's working great. In fact, I'm changing my review to 4 stars. I would give it 5 except for I still have to do some creative editing to get the video and audio in sync. I'm attaching a night video so you guys can see how good this unit works. The distance in the video is 20 yards and the scope is set at 9x. I got to tell ya guys, this scope is your best bang for the buck. I've been using this unit consistently for 5 months and it's worked flawlessly for me.

PLASTIC lock nut holds almost no tension. Use on NOTHING larger than a .22.
If you put this on anything larger than a .22, it will fall apart. The locking nut that clamps the camera to the scope is VERY thin plastic and pops off with any kind of extra pressure. The included IR flashlight, is exactly that. With it's own separate button that you better remember to turn off.The fact it requires 3 batteries is very inconvenient. The way the camera and screen plug into the battery pack are extremely inconvenient. These should have 90 degree connection points. Finally, the lack of a quick release for the screen is almost inexcusable given the ease of getting those parts these days. All of that being said, I gave it two stars because it does technically work and has a fairly clear image. However, it is NOT 720p. It might be 720FHD but you can tell when in night mode. Everything is very grainy. Oh, it should also come with a basic 65g SD card. Again, such an easily provided part.

Not good for day use.
Overall, the price of this package is quite reasonable given all the components that come with it. Unfortunately, I had to return this product because it did not suit my needs for daytime video quality. It seemed OK for nighttime IR imaging. For reference, I ended up getting an ATN 4k Pro (open box) for $500.Problems:- Mounting to my optical scope was difficult because a reticle knob was in the way.- The openings in the imaging tube allow light to reflect off the scope objective lens which causes hazing of the display and recorded image.- Even with the night/day switch in the day position, the camera was still too sensitive and the image over-exposed.- The recorded image ended up having less quality than is possible with 720p video. The analog image through my scope looked good, so I assume it is s limitation of the camera and extra optics. Of course, I focused and adjusted the camera to get the best image possible.
