Working great so far
I tried another Y connector that leaked (and I returned). This one is better for a several reasons. For one thing, it doesn't leak. That's important. For another, the on/off switches are easier to turn and it's easy to tell if they are in the on or off positions because there is a marker in brass. When you have a timer on one side, you wouldn't necessarily know if the water was on or off to that hose when it's not time to sprinkle per your program. On the other side, I have a hose with a hand-spray nozzle that doesn't let water flow except when the trigger is squeezed so I can't tell if water is flowing to that hose either. I want to know that the water is on to the timer side, and off to the other, unless I'm using it, and with the raised brass markings, I can, plus I don't need to worry about the markings wearing off.My timer attaches to one side of this connector well, leaving just enough space for me to remove the programming module when I need to and then slide it back into place. Another huge benefit is that I've had other connectors that caused noise in the water line when an extension or a timer was added to one side and the water left on to that side. This one does not do that.I'm not phobic about plastic. As long as it works, I'm happy and so far, this does for me just fine. I've had other hose connectors with plastic shut off tabs that have worked well for years even when left out over the winter. For the price of this item, I'm very satisfied and recommend it.

Basically well constructed but reduces flow
I'm basically happy with this, due to its quality materials. But the flow is reduced due to a smaller than normal opening on the rotating balls inside. Also, the levers were stiff enough to begin with that I had to use pliers to get them going. Although that loosened them up, it unfortunately messed up one of the black rubber handle caps, which is now in the garbage. All that said -- it's a good value for the money spent, functions as expected, fine where I have it placed (the reduced flow doesn't matter for my purpose because it's in the garden space). So I'm happy enough with it. If I were putting it in a location where I needed full flow, as in washing a car, I'd be unhappy.

Works very well
I added a self filling dog waterer to my hose tap and therefore the tap needs to stay on. The other half of the "Y" goes to the garden hose. All hose fittings sealed up easily with just hand pressure and the legs of the Y fully seal with the paddle handle so the watering hose doesn't leak. Sometimes these Y's impede water flow but this one flows better than the leaky Y that was on before. The only change I'd ask for is a little better ergonomics on the thumb handles. They're a little small and you have to push kinda hard to turn them.

Facuet flow splitter
Needed a splitter to connect 2 hose for simultaneous use. Product met the need, quality was very good and you won't find it for a more reasonable price (H.D. has for more than 2 times the price)

Just okay
I recently purchased a garden hose splitter, and I have to say, it's just okay. It serves its purpose, but I can't say it's anything to write home about.Functionality:The garden hose splitter does what it's supposed to do – it splits one hose into two, allowing me to water different areas of my garden simultaneously. However, the design feels a bit clunky, and the knobs for controlling the water flow to each hose are not as smooth as I'd like. It can be a bit tricky to adjust the water pressure precisely.Durability:The build quality is acceptable but not outstanding. While it hasn't broken yet, I have my doubts about its long-term durability song that water does gush out. I worry that it might not hold up well under constant exposure to the elements.Leaks:One of the main issues I've encountered is occasional leaks. It's frustrating to have water dripping from the splitter when I'm trying to water my garden. I've had to use extra washers to mitigate this problem, which shouldn't be necessary.Price:I chose this garden hose splitter primarily because it was one of the cheaper options available. While it hasn't been a total disappointment, I can't help but wonder if spending a bit more for a higher-quality splitter might have been a better investment.Overall, the garden hose splitter is functional enough for basic gardening needs, but it falls short in terms of build quality and ease of use. It's a budget-friendly option, but you might find yourself dealing with occasional leaks and a less-than-smooth operation. If you're looking for a quick and cheap solution, it'll get the job done, but don't expect anything remarkable.

Orbit garden hose splitter
This brass hose splitter works great. It is so much better than cheap plastic ones. I expect it to last a very long time. Fair price, also. Thanks Orbit.
