No, I don't use gloves. It may say that as a precaution because it contains acid, but I spread it on, rub it in, then wash my hands. No gloves needed and no ill effects.

Q: Please tell me what worked for you? As I have a couple calluses on my feet that I am trying to get rid of, what worked for you?

This product is ok,, not what I expected for my foot issues. Sooo, I use this one in the shower as maintenance until my next pedi appointment. This one does not removed hard/thick calluses. This paddle is better for the heels of your feet. However, I discovered another callus remover that I also purchased to see which one worked best for my feet and this one is the Best: Colossal Innovative Nano Glass Callus Remover Foot File (Foot scrubber) by brand name: SUMI ECO ECO-FRIENDLY. This one you can use on dry skin/calluses and it does a great job. I used and rinse with warm water only after every use. My calluses are almost gone after several uses. I was paying extra money for callus remover oil at the Salon which did nothing and I'm no longer paying for "special" pedicures. I pay for the basic one and call it a day.

Q: Does the gel stain sheets or towels if it gets in them?

I wasn’t a fan of the gel so tossed it. I only used the sander. I use it 2-3 times a week and put a lotion or crème on my feet after and they’re great.
