Nice budget flathead reel!
Vary nice and large. Ive paired it with an 8ft berkley big game rod. This rod and real isn't for bluegill I'll tell u that. It would take a monster to damage this setup. I already have 3 big game rods and I'm buying 2 more quantum optix 80's to finish the matching set of three. Can't wait to see what they are capable of.

Works pretty good. A little on the brittle side. Does not take much impact to break the bell.

Ageless Reliability
Alway's a reliable, smooth operating fishing reel. Case in point, in the picture the new Quantum Optix (Silver) I just purchased is next to my old Quantum SR2 (Black) I got just over 30 years ago, that is still working as well today as when I first got it, still reels smooth and always reliable.And the Optix performed just as well as the old SR2 on its maiden fishing trip, and I have no doubt it will continue to do so for many years to come. For smooth operation and genuine reliability that lasts Quantum delivers.

Worth the ca$h
I have the size 80 reel. Have 50lb braid loaded on it on a 9ft heavy rod. With a 3oz wait I can launch this with a large bait about 100yrd every time. It handles catfish and large drum without a problem. Strong reel well made

Warranty is NOT 5 years
Website says 1 year warranty. A 5 year warranty is great when using equipment in saltwater. BUT a name brand reel with 4 ball bearings for $20 is crazy good!
