Amazing Non-Stick Pan (Definitely give this one a try)
Hello, I normally don't write product reviews but I made an exception for the WaxonWare pan that I purchased. I bought the pan on January 7th, 2017. So it has been just over 5 months since my purchase. I can say that my family uses this pan easily 7-8 times per week. For eggs, omelets, frozen meals that require thawing and cooking, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. Pretty much anything in a frying pan. It is just like new and the coating is doing an amazing job. Still nonstick. Cleans up very easily. Looks like new. I started my seach in December and was looking mainly at Amazon reviews. I like many get frustrated with the contradictory reviews that you frequently find on products. One person loves it, the other person thinks it's garbage. Well, I can tell you that one of the toughest critics I know when it comes to evaluating products is my wife. And after months of trial, she has given her good housekeeping seal of approval on the WaxonWare frying pan. She uses it now more than I do. If you are searching for a good, reliable, nonstick pan, THIS is the one.We never use more that half the heat (50%) on our gas stove top when using this pan, as recommended in the user instructions. After use, we let it cool down to room temperature, and use mild dish soap and a soft sponge to clean. We have not had any scratches, or chips in the surface. The manufacturer puts out some very good information on the care and use of the pan. We follow that guidance exactly and have had nothing but an enjoyable experience with this product. I would definitely recommend this pan!

Solid, nice looking, quality nonstick pan
First use was impressive using a little coconut oil and fried up eggs that literally slid out the pan. Cleaned up super easy. Reminding yourself only medium heat is the only drawback BUT it does get hot and does a nice job of nonstick cooking. The amount of time to heat up depends on your individual stovetop and not the pan itself. It is the best nonstick we've owned but as with other nonstick pans, use over time is the true test. I replace nonstick as soon as I see wear on the finish or when the pan warps. I've never put nonstick in the dishwasher but have used high heat which may be why they needed replaced after a few years of use. Don't use spray as this literally gums up the surface and effects the quality of cooking. Ceramic coating is supposed to be safer than your typical nonstick which is why we made the switch. Tried the "green" ceramic pan advertised on TV. Ended up giving to thrift store. The copper pan almost got my purchase but I saw this pan and went with it and glad I did. Hoping for years of use because it is our go to pan. In 6 months if it passes the test, we will get the larger one as well. I know cast iron is the best for cooking healthy but they are heavy and mine rusted and I just didn't like it with my ceramic cooktop. So I believe ceramic coated nonstick is the next best choice for my needs and health.

Nice Skillet at Reasonable Price
Over the years, I have bought at least 6 different brands of non-stick skillets at various prices (up to $100 for small 8" skillet for just cooking eggs). Bought this skillet after using it during a visit at my sister's house. It is larger than I usually prefer for making fried eggs for one, but I liked the way it cooked. Although it is lightweight, it had good and even heat distribution, and of course, great non-stick (afterall it is still new). It cleans up easily by hand-washing or dishwasher. Only time will tell if it is scratch-resistant and keeps it non-stick qualities. However, for its price I think it is a good choice and recommend it.

Ease of use, and toxin free, worth every penny to me!
Greetings from the Captain. This is my first review, and is inspired by a purchase that made me quite happy. For a few years I've been searching for a pan that was non-stick, didn't require a lot of effort to use/clean, and did it's job well. I was using a Green Pan(tm) which certainly seemed better than teflon, but had some lingering questions of it's own(although some had been resolved, and were allegedly due to a mistake by the person who wrote the promotional material for the company). After a couple of years of use, the Green Pan had lost it's non-stick qualities in decent portions of the cooking surface, making cleaning difficult much of the time, the food stick and burn, and made me wonder about the health properties of it in that condition. The Waxonware pan was a welcomed relief for my mind in terms of health, and was an ABSOLUTE JOY to clean, as well as to cook with(yeah, the cleaning part of my kitchen time seems to stick in my memory more than the cooking sometimes). The first thing I made was eggs. The eggs slide around in the pan very easily, nothing stuck in the slightest. Cleaning was a breeze, I just rinsed it out under fast running water, with no dishcloth or detergent necessary! My next use was with some ground turkey and some vegetables. This time I didn't have to question how much of the effect was due to oil, as I did not use any, nor any spray. Nothing stuck, and again I was able to wash it in the same manner as before! Im not sure I can emphasize how impressed Ive been with this purchase, and how glad I'd once again spent many hours doing research, and this time finally found something that assured me was worth pulling the trigger.I enjoyed the depth of the pan, and also enjoyed upgrading my lid to one that actually fit, unlike the last one I was using on my Green Pan. Again, that made cleanup much quicker, and also kept more moisture in the food. I purchased this in June of 2016, which is when the company had said it would have lids available. I didn't see any, but thanks to another review I found the TeChef tempered glass lid(11 inch), which I also very much enjoy. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B014LQV8GI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If WaxonWare doesn't have a lid out by the time you read this(or even if they do), I highly recommend this TeChef lid. This pan finally motivated me to write my first review, and in the interest of the Golden Rule, I have a lot of catching up to do!(on my other purchases) :) I plan to update this and other reviews over time, as I've many times found myself wishing others had done(I'm often meticuluous in comparing reviews before spending my money). I also plan to check for and answer any questions folks may post in the comments. If you found this review helpful at all, I'd be very grateful if you clicked the little link that says so. Best wishes in finding the right pan for you.UPDATE 9/15/2017: Folks, I dont take any joy in writing this update. For months while washing dishes, I kept thinking that I needed to update this badly. I'm not great with time estimates, so sometime between 6 to 10 months ago, a couple of areas in the pan started to stick. The progressively got bigger, and worse...until I kept telling myself I should replace it. That finally happened when I was on a trip and rented a hotel room that came with a stovetop in it. The Captain may be a low roller, but he likes to eat healthy. I dont think this hotel provided cookware like "extended stays", so I went to Walmart intending to buy something dirt cheap for a use on my trip only, but instead bout a CeraPan (PTFE/PFOA free), being I recalled I needed to replace my WaxonWare pan anyhow, and paid about $15 for it.A quick note about GreenPan, if anyone is considering that brand as well: I have a pot from them(got it at K-Mart awhile ago, not sure if I'd researched it at all), and whenever I warm water in it, I ALWAYS see some film on top of the water, regardless of how I clean it...I've waited far too long to replace that as well, but I'm not a high roller like many of the reviewers of some products I see on here. Maybe some of you can relate, and I wanted to give those seeking to be healthy without breaking the bank a heads up.I think it's fair to drop at least 1/1.5 stars, and after reading other reviews that were written after mine, I'm debating whether I should drop more(I'll think it over for awhile). It WAS a GREAT pan for awhile, but it reminded me of a lot of marriages you hear about that start out great, but flame out rather quickly(almost literally for me, except my stove is electric instead of gas ;) ). I'm not bitter at this pan, I do have some memories of how nice it was at the beginning.Once again, If you found this review helpful at all, I'd be very grateful if you clicked the little link that says so. Best wishes in finding the right pan for you.

Disappointed
This was a very disappointing purchase. We followed the seasoning instructions and everything sticks to the pan. I contacted the company Millennium Resell that the product came from through Amazon and did not receive a reply. Don’t know if it is simply a defect or a bad product. Please let me know if something can be done .
