MacGregor Steel Umpire Indicator, 3 x 1.5 x 0.5

Definitely prefer this shape to the normal shape of these. Much more comfortable and easier to do without looking. Feels quality. Been using this whole season while I coach and still looks brand new. Wheels turn easily but securely.

Old indicator I had for 15 years stolen out of my car with a bunch of other stuff. Didn't want the "modern" plastic ones......This is perfect. Got here quicker than expected and is perfect in every way. Well built and easy to read.

I've used this indicator now for several games and it has maintained the smooth rolling action of the wheels, even with a little dirt getting inside. The body is holding up well, in spite of me using while flipping for sides and has maintained its finish. I do miss having a wheel for keeping track of the inning, but it's not a deal killer for me. I use this with my left hand even though I'm right-hand dominant and I don't have any problems using it one-handed. The "outs" wheel is a bit tricky to get used to, but is okay with a little practice.

Perfect fit for your hand, value for your money, unbelievable quality for the price, I even bought onefor my grandson so both of us can follow the count !

In the ad, this item did not have a clear description of what sport this was for. The item was made for a baseball or softball umpire where 4 balls and three strikes are needed.I needed this for senior men’s softball where 3 balls and two strikes are needed.

The top wheel rubs against the metal cover and slowly shaves off a little bit of plastic every time you turn it The bottom wheel was loose and I had to readjust into place, pound the pin in more, and wrap the whole thing with tape to keep it closed so that the wheel doesn’t fall out. I’m actually pretty happy with it now
