These are advertised as a retrofit kit, sounding like it is a straight forward swap with minimal issues when you buy the lifters, yet very important information is left unsaid, leading to costly additional purchases.What is not said is,* You also need the "retro-fit Kit" to guide the lifters.* You will need to drill the block if not a original roller cam block* You will need special length push-rods* You will need a special small base circle camshaft, otherwise the lifters will clear the lifter guide oil holes with major sequential engine damageWith all this known upfront, there is no way I would have bought this retrofit kit
