Maybe it’s a case you get what you pay for (it ain’t cheap, but it’s good). At least I think it’s good.They claim testing for heavy metals, etc. In the beginning, I tasted, a hint of lemon, and by the time a third of the bottle was used up there was no taste (which was good because who wants to taste fish oil). My daughter hates fish and she is able to take it..One of the omega 3 oils is where the fish taste/smell comes from. I think they somehow store it as triglycerides to keep it fresh and to make it more pleasant to use. My bottle (which I keep in the refrigerator) is 80% gone now, and it has changed from clear to slightly cloudy.. I cannot tell if the quality is affected at this point, but on my next bottle, I’m going to start taking 2 teaspoons a day when the bottle is half empty to use it up faster towards the end (as you get progressively more air in the bottle I think it causes the delicate oils to go stale faster)..

I had recently replaced my old coffee grinder that finally quit -- The newer one was so noisy, I was concerned about hearing damage -- spilled coffee grounds all over and made a MESS.I finally order this Shardor grinder -- MUCH more quiet -- doe NOT spit coffee grounds all over the place -- MUCH easier to clean -- grinds well --- NO NEED to push hard on the top to grind -- lightly will do --I am VERY VERY pleased with the Shardor grinder -- Highly recommend it.

After speaking with a nutritionist for more recipes for my cats and pup,I was alterted that the one I had recently purchased could cause Vit A toxicity.The Vit D was about the same, but the Vit A was too high for my pets.Having no stock in Carlson's CLO this was one of the ingredients in the recipe.I will only purchase this brand when using in my homemade pet recipes.

My daughter has been ill and we have had to supplement her diet with vitamins & minerals. Her GI system is out of whack (trying to sort it all out). It was recommended that we give her cod liver oil for the vit A & D. I had also read about its anti-inflammatory effects.I have a disc that is blown out & gives me problems, in a very specific spot, even as a healthy, active thin person. I started taking this, 1 tsp a day.Within a few weeks, I did notice that my disc, that usually aches in the mornings, was less likely to flare up & stay that way throughout the day. Or that when I would accidentally 'tweak' it, say - with a bad twist or unplanned move - instead of it immediately start to throb with pain & stay that way for hrs, it might dully give a twinge then go away. I am convinced that by controlling the inflammation, this helps manage that disc area better. Along with exercise, stretching & being mindful of it. I'm hooked.Can't say if it has helped my daughter at this time but it cannot hurt, so I continue giving it to her.This product came with the same exp date as the one on the Whole Foods shelf, I always check for that, too, when I order items like this from Amazon. Also, it is WAY less expensive than Whole Foods. I cannot believe how much they charge for this!I tried the lemon and the plain. I put it in empty capsules for the kids. The lemon has no aftertaste, tastes good. the plain does have a bit of a fishy flavor, bit of fishy after burps, but really not a big deal to me. Go with the lemon if you are hesitating.

I've got Sjogren's Syndrome so I bought this to get my Omega 3s. If I didn't KNOW it were made from fish, I wouldn't believe it. It has perfectly fish-free and pleasantly lemony taste. I don't even have to hold my nose to swallow a spoonful. I used to take fish oil gel pills from a different brand, and hated that fishy afterburp. This has just a lemony afterburp that is actually pleasant! Go figure!I appreciate that the bottle is glass rather than plastic. However, I'm surprised it didn't break in transit. The bottle came in a simple bubble wrap envelope that gave little protection for something made of glass. I noticed someone else said theirs arrived broken and they could not get a refund. That would be a big bummer.Anyway, I highly recommend this product if you need your Omega 3s!

It’s simple really, the right fish oils are essential for your health. Especially if you suffer from any type of chronic inflammation. After doing my research and asking people in the know they recommended this specific type from this brand. Been using it for 3 months now and will never use another fish oil again. Just feel better when I take it. No fishy burps afterwards just this amazing herbal lemon taste that goes away quickly. Amazing product

Any kind of fish oil is. Pod for you but many taste like you ate raw fish. However this has a strong lemon taste and you cannot taste theFish and you are belching up fishy taste afterwards. My cardiologist recommended this along with my cholesterol medication. But if you take Zetia beForewarned it may cause you gastric problems , stomach ache, bloating, loose stools. Taken alone there are no side effects. I recommend this to anyone who hates anything fishy including fish and needs to take cholesterol lowering medication. It’s a great product.

I have always had a hard time swallowing pills so I’m always looking for a liquid option to pill form supplements. I decided to try this out and have been pleasantly surprised. The oil does not taste fishy at all. It just has a slight lemony flavor aftertaste. You do not have fishy tasting burps either. The only drawback I have experienced is the oil texture is not the most appealing. I definitely have to chase it with some other liquid after I take it.I take one teaspoon in the morning and the bottle has lasted several months already.If you can get past the oil texture, I would highly recommend this product.
