Excellent replacement for OEM Sub
My Mecedes E350 (rear deck) subwoofer started souding scratchy and eventually went bad. The little dedicated Harmon amp was fine but the speaker was done for. Sadly, replacing that speaker requires more disassembly of the car's interior than I was able to do. Besides, for all that work I would've just ended up with a mediocre subwoofer. I unplugged the old subwoofer, placed this Blaupunkt in trunk and wired it into the cars existing wiring... what a huge difference! More power, more clarity, more punch. I'm not into loud anymore, but this Blaupunkt is able to go much louder than factory subwoofer and it sounds so much better.

Huge bass in a small package!
I installed this subwoofer in my Scion iQ because there is a lack of any real usable room or mounting space for a sub. After looking at other compact subs I found this one to have the correct dimensions to fit under my seat (3 1/8” tall) and the price was right, but was a little leery about such an inexpensive self-amplified sub.Turns out, this thing is awesome! My other car has a 10” Polk with its own amp, so I’m used to big, usable, and sometimes powerful bass. I’ve installed and enjoyed many sound systems, so I’ve developed an ear for good sound. The Blaupunkt fills my car with lots of bass, and sounds great after fiddling with tuning it. There is some distortion close to the upper limit, but the rest of the sound system is too loud for you to even be in that range in daily use. The sound is full and not cheap or tinny, and puts a smile on my face. From standing 10 feet away from the car I can hear the sub noticeably but not loudly, and this is with the radio at about medium volume. This is a good option for cars with smaller interior volume I guess, but maybe a pair of these would work for a larger vehicle.Overall, I’m very impressed with this little box and am happy everything turned out so well. I definitely recommend.

Great sub, wide soundstage, solid build quality
I was a little sus due to the single blurry photo but I decided to pick it up due to the good price and that it's a compact, ported sub.Haven't installed in car yet but I've been running it off a 12V 5A power supply and comparing it to my home theater subs.It definitely exceeded my expectations for it's size! And the build quality is great. It's solid and all-metal. (Good thing too cause my Amazon driver literally threw it on the porch with no protection in the HEAVY RAIN, took a blurry photo, and ran. But it's fully intact.)I'm not some A-hole bass head and was looking for something that can do balanced bass as well as hit those low notes <35Hz that even some 12-inch subs can't hit. (Size ain't everything folks.)It definitely delivered, goes down to about 30 before dropping off, outperforming my 10 inch sub in all but volume, and feels like a wider soundstage. I do have one sub that outperforms it but that makes sense given it's part of a very expensive Atmos system that uses mics to do active room-correction.The fact that it crushes all my other subs in soundstage, even the bigger ones, is still impressive.Sure, at only 100 watts RMS it doesn't get SUPER LOUD compared to some beefy subs, but it's loud enough that 50% can SHAKE YOYR HOUSE BABY. And I value my eardrums, so that's good enough for me.

Only work during one week
Amazing bass for little box. But looks like this is a no good product. I saw bad opinions and looks like the bad is for the same issue. The product works good for the first week but then suddenly stop to work.I feel sad because i trusted on this brand, but looks like even if is good materials quality and good numbers/ specification, the real quality or durability of the product is not the best.

Very strong.
Compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Hits very hard for the size. I definitely recommend for tight spaces.

More bump than expected
Back in the early 2000's I would replace all car speaker components and headunits with blaupunkt (except subs). I haven't touched the brand in a while but I needed a compat subwoofer to sit behind the driver side seat of my 2021 Polaris slingshot. This fit the dimensions and wouldn't draw enough power to kill my battery so I went for it. Didn't expect much because it's an open air vehicle but the stock speakers on it are so lacking I figured anything would be better. This really surprised me I had to cover it in dynamat because it was moving so much, it's like my seat has a built in massager. The sound is great once you tune it to how you listen to music and is more than enough even outside the vehicle. Couldn't be happier with the purchase

Not very effective
Sounds clear and provides bass at very low volumes, I don’t have much space so it will have to do, but don’t expect much out of it
