works perfect. installed it behind the front seat in my extended cab and it gives the right amount of bass for me. it's not going to rattle houses as you roll by, but it gives that punch stock systems are missing. a little bigger then I expected but that was my own fault for not reading the dimensions

This "little" tube is better than I expected, especially after reading other reviews. It was bought as a temporary replacement while my other sub is being repaired, but I may not switch them back. BIKE BUILDERS READ ON >>> This lives in the trunk of my '11 HD Ultra Classic. It fits nearly perfectly, the trunk lid holding it in place (everything normally bounces around). I have it wired with RCA inputs from a cheap line level converter connected to the rear speakers. This build is still evolving, but so far it is the stock head unit (Harmon Kardon) with MP3 input, two HogTunes amps and all 4 stock speaker replacements, and the 7" mid bass lower kit. I am adding another amp, and a powered equalizer, and have some crossover work to do, but it kicks butt so far (for a bike). Again there may be SOME distortion from the Pyle sub when cranked on SOME tunes, but it is not noticeble while riding, and there is very little vibration rattling. The trunk ports were made by attaching 4x4 speaker grilles to the flat portion of the trunk (under the passenger backrest), and drilling matching holes thru the fiberglass. The sound and air flow forward well, and I changed the "flap" acorn bolts to upholstery snaps for quick install in rain or a stock appearance.Anybody doing a bike build will like having some real bass, and it can be removed easily for long trips, but I will just pack less and sound better getting there. So far it has worked well for over a week of riding and tweaking. It may fry eventually, but the enclosure is worth the $55 (delivered) with a replacement speaker and separate amp powering it, so even if I burn it up, I would be very happy. I have lots of experience with bike builds from way back before ANYTHING could be bought for a bike system. There are lots of option now, and experimentation doesn't have to cost a fortune. My last bike was a Gold Wing with 2 Fosgate amps, 2 small Kenwood amps, a 12" Punch trunk sub - custom box ported forward, 2 Jensen marine speakers (mid bass) under passenger pad, 6" bazooka tubes in each saddlebag, and replaced stock speakers controlled by a 1/4 din Kenwood EQ in the fairing pocket. My voltmeter bounced more like a VU meter, the headlights pulsed with the bass, but it would shake car windows next to me, and it competed well, except no SPL points. It gives great bass for a low budget sub I just can’t figure out if I can hook speakers up to the app wires that come with it 🤷‍♂️

For the price it's great! Havr in my travel trailer for the past 2yrs and it works great and sounds great.

Worked for a few weeks. The amp is not working. The sound still come out of the speaker but there is no bass to it then the amp will kick in for a little bit then go out again. Not happy with it at all.
