MTXAudio MUDSYS31 Bluetooth Overhead Utv Audio System

I bought this for a 2023 RZR 1000 XP. Installation was very easy. I have a stock Polaris lock and ride roof that I removed to mount the radio. Still winter my way so haven’t been out riding with it but it seems pretty loud so don’t see any issues hearing it. After other reviews I read I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of bass it has. Looks good and doesn’t interfere with head space. I’m in a rural area and fm picked up several stations just using the Boss marine hidden antenna

I installed this on my 2019 RZR XP TURBO 2 seater, I like the fact that is out of the way above your head and doesn't obstruct your veiw when using the rear view mirror, it has very good sound quality, it may not have all the bass of a large 10 or 12 inch woofer but when you crank it up it rattles the whole machine, the only thing I would recommend is to not go by there torque specifications, the bolts aren't very larger and trying to torque to 40psi your going to either strip out the threds or snap the bolt, I was using my torque wrench and stopped before i reached the recomended 40psi.

Fit for my 2020 Kawasaki KRX 1000... excellent sound quality, bluetooth easy...this is my second one purchased and it is the only system I would use !!!

this is a great unit, space save, easy install etc. The only installation issue is that I had to modify the mounting clamp to accommodate the wiring. Basically, I had to drill a hole in it to pass the wiring through so I could access the predrilled hole in the roll cage. Other than that, this is a simple unit to install and provide great value.The other issue I have is the USB input does not have a shuffle feature. In other words, however you load your USB device, that's the order its going to play. I have over 14000 tracks on my thumb drive by album. I will have to listen to almost 20 Black Sabbath Albums before it changes over to Boston. I contacted MTX about it, and they confirmed there is no shuffle feature on the unit. No big deal as long as you're in cell service and can use Pandora or something similar.

Fits 2021 Kawasaki mule trans 4x4. only got 3 stars for these reasons. Radio is not very programable, doesn't seem to be a way to program the channels you want, it basically auto scans the first 6 station per FM/AM group so i have to make sure i am in the correct group to shuffle to the correct station. I agree with the other reviewer that the torque specifications seem way off. These are very small bolts that are holding together cheap plastic, i would hand tighten with a small socket wrench and re check after some casual ridding. The led light is not very bright. The plastic wire sheathing is not snug against the wires so trying to fish it through a hole will require the hole to be a 1/2 inch including a grommet. If it was just the wires you probably could have gotten away with 1/4. There should be a compartment for the unused wires so they are not just dangling. The price point is a bit high for what you get. I have only used it once so time will only tell.

Works good and fits good. Kinda quite when hooked to Bluetooth but other than that works good.

this system only took 1/2 hr to install and for the price sounds great and is loud enough to hear on the trail. i also have a NOAM two speaker system an another SXS that cost the same and this blows it away with a much easier install. would buy again!!
