Actually love this toilet seat
Exactly what I needed, fits perfect on our "specialty sized" toilet. No others fit and I'm so happy I found this, it's sturdy and easy to install. It's comfortable and the slow close feature is very nice. Plastic is strong and nice, easy to clean and unlike wooden painted toilets toy can clean this thing with whatever you want without it falling apart!

Gets the job done.
This seat is okay, not great but okay. I had recently purchased a nice wooden toilet seat. Had it about 2 months and dropped an almost empty can of air freshener on the ring of the seat and it split right in half on one side. At that point I just ordered an inexpensive seat from Amazon and as I stated, it's okay. It is slow close. It does fit perfectly on my oblong shaped toilet. But it is lightweight and kind of flimsy. But, I'm not spending the money on another wooden seat. I did purchase additional bolts or screws (whatever they're called) to replace the plastic ones that came with the seat. Those worked great.

The quality was a wee bit less than I expected for the price

And all around good replacement
The toilet seat was easy to install, and the soft clothes feature is nice. I ended up buying another one to replace the other toilet seat, even though it was not broken mainly because this one is more comfortable, and on the other toilet, I kept tapping the seat, thinking it was gonna soak close and then it ended up slamming so far. I haven’t had any problems with them loosening up and the plastic seems to be holding up just fine.

Not the best choice with a bidet
When attached to a toilet with a bidet, the rear bumpers do not cone in contact with the porcelain. The seat isn't substantial enough to prevent flexing when sat upon, so when sitting the front of the seat lifts up a little . The underside of the seat isn't flat, so even if bigger or thicker bumpers could be found they would not fix the problem. I kept it for a week or so, but while no hard toilet seat is very comfortable, this one actually hurt. So I ended by discarding it (trashing it) and buying a wooden seat that closes softly . The installation of the wooden seat required getting under the toilet with a wrench so it wasn't as easy to install as the plastic seat, but I'm much more satisfied with the result. Wooden seats are typically not as durable as plastic ones, but I've had several wooden seats in my home for more than eighteen years and durability has not been a problem. For me a non issue.

Not quite American Made, but excellent buy
Easy and quick to install, great looking, good price, looks quality, and bought before the huge tariffs in China
