Q: Are these espresso beans or just regular coffee beans?

With whole beans, there is no difference. Espresso uses regular coffee beans, but the grind is finer for espresso than that for a drip machine.

Q: I ordered this last week, I'm interested in buying more but the price went up from $22 to $36...what happened??

I have noticed pretty substantial price changes for Lavazza beans--going up and down, sometimes within a day. My experience is that the price may go down soon.

Q: Just received 2 bags. one is vacuum sealed, but the other isn't. i'm not sure it's safe to use. is it, or should i return it for credit.

first the vaccum one keeps the coffee fresher but You can do this easy! When opening it only on corner,then push out the air with fingers closing!Air is the worst thing to make the cooffee bad!, Do not keep the coffee in the Frig either no good best left out in cool room. William
