Buying a second one ASAP
I love this light. As a wedding videographer, I needed something more portable than my old light kit, which included non-LED lights (ugh waiting for the can to cool at the end of the night before packing) a separate dimmer and separate remotes and extension cords and a ridiculously heavy bag. With this light I have my light stand and everything else is packed in the included travel bag. It dims, changes color, turns on and off and more FROM MY PHONE. Years ago, I used to have to run around a reception turning my lights on and off as events occurred. This light is versatile and powerful enough for large dance floors and intimate night photo sessions. Getting a second one ASAP

The best light for wedding filmmakers
After a while, you're going to notice those LED panels aren't going to cut it anymore, and when you want to step up your video production this is the way to go! The biggest gain for me is the app control, being able to control the light with your phone when speeches are going or when the speeches are over is a god send. Also the spot and flood built in Fresnel is amazing along with the barn doors. It's super bright with a lot of good range.The app can be a bit spotty when you are in a room full of people with phones.

Decent lights for background stripe, and maybe hair light, but that's about it
These just aren't as bright as I'd hoped, unless lighting a background or using as rim light in a dark space. Stick with the higher-power Lightstorms for better quality and options.

Fills a gap
What I love about this light (aside from the bi-color) is the ability to spot the light down without any modifier. So often with continuous lighting you need to scrim, snoot or modify the light in some way to light only a small area. This light solves all those issues without any of those things.It’s not super powerful. It’s a tool made for specific things. And it does a great job at that. A real gem for product video/photography as well as maybe a hair light or something like that.

Perfect light for me. 60x
I bought this to use as a rim light mostly for reception/wedding photography. I was having trouble with my off camera flash set ups and decided to go continuous. I have only used it in studio in conjunction with other off camera flash(more controlled) the light is awesome. Super easy to use/set up. Lightweight feels professional. I would buy again if it breaks. I got it for the kelvin adjustments for venues.

Perfect light for weddings & on the set!!
There isn't enough great things I can mention about this light. From lighting wedding receptions, faces for toasts or if I'm on the set as a DP this light performs absolutely amazing. If i must mention one downfall, it is the battery life when the light is being powered by Sony NP-F batteries. Make sure that if you're not plugging this light directly into a power source and want the light to last longer than say 30mins... use a V-mount battery! 🔋

I love this light
My new favorite little light. Makes a great key for run and gun and a fantastic 2nd to a 300d or 600d. Love this light! So many use cases and powering options.
