Adore 31" Kraken The Giant Squid Plush Stuffed Animal Toy

I'll be blunt: I'm an adult buying this for myself. I wanted a squid that was huggable and therefore a decent size, but the problem with online listings for plush squids (as you know) is that the lengths and dimensions are tricky to understand and sellers will take advantage of this. If the listing says, eg, 22 inches, is that inches from the tip of the mantle to the tip of the longest tentacle? Or diameter-wise, as in outspread tentacle-to-tentacle? I assure you, this is a decently-sized plush squid that is 31-inches from mantle tip to tentacle tip. For the price, I was worried about the quality, but the outer materials--a nice soft velvety texture for the main body, similar fabrics on the accents, and a nice stubby texture on the inside of the tentacles--are exactly what you're here for and the seams and construction feel perfectly sturdy. It even has a beak at its center like a squid is meant to! Very happy with my squid, and I'll try to upload photos.

I am very pleased with the quality of the squid. Most good plushes are extremely overpriced but this little fella is great for $20. It’s soft, pretty big and has cool details. I think it would make a great gift for anyone who wants a more interesting plush for their collection or someone who loves deep sea creatures.The only con is that the beak is not very substantial; however, it does have one and the rest of its features more than make up for that

HE IS PERFECT!! Exactly what this 22-year-old was looking for when she bought him on impulse. He's stuffed just the right amount to have a nice balance of structure and squish, and the fabric he's made of is super soft. I especially like the textured fabric on the back side of his tentacles, it adds such a cool, unique element to his design! He doesn't yet have a name, but he'll be living on my desk to be my drawing companion while i work :)

My nephew got into sea creatures a while back and I purchased this for him. He took it everywhere. My sister explained that not only was it soft but it was up to her son's standard. What she meant was her son KNOWS about squids and this squid had the tenticles, the beak all the bells and whistles needed. Well one day on a walk my nephew dropped Mr. Squid and he was never to be seen again. He was devastated! I ordered a new one and after a few days it was delivered to him. Long story short a simply squid turned into my nephews best friend! Thank you for providing such high quality products!

I bought this for my 5-year-old daughter. She has many stuffed animals from many different people, but I wanted to get her something unique that she would always remember was from me. Well, this fit the bill. It is exactly as advertised and appears to be a well-made, high-quality stuffed animal. It has the added bonus of being pretty anatomically correct and has raised many questions about the biology of the strange, elusive sea creature, thus it also served as a learning tool.In short, I love this item about as much as you could possibly love a stuffed squid.

The price this is selling for on Amazon is spectacular compared to what you'd pay at an establishment that might have this, such as a zoo or aquarium.The stitching is all complete and no loose ends dangling off anywhere. They eyes are attached fully and I'm not worried about then ripping off. I'm impressed to find they even included two little parts to represent its beak. It's not as soft as other stuffed animals I've seen, but it feels like sturdy material that will stand up to children and multiple washings.
