This is a must if you dont have a rocket launcher
Lets face it, if you have a boat with a bimini top, you probably dont have lots of rod storage. I have rod holders near the back of the boat but the rods get in the way. This rod holder is great. Take your time and it will install and look great. There is a small mistake in the instructions (i think), where it says to cut equal amounts but the diagram makes it look like you cut to make the 2 rods the same length. The proper thing is to cut the same amount from all 4 pieces (2 join to make upper bar and 2 join to make lower bar). You do not want to make the top and bottom same length. This becomes pretty clear when you are working on it. When assembled it is very sturdy. The hardware is of quality and everything comes together so well. This has to be the best value in this sort of accessory. The picture is a bayliner trophy

For a decent economical rocket launcher it is pretty good.
I am not disappointed for the money. Not easy to install but if you have a little ingenuity and time, you will get it installed in a couple of hours. I had to cut two of the poles and make a few adjustments to get it right. But looks great, is fairly stable on my bimini and holds a couple of poles pretty solid. Not sure I could put 6 poles up there all at once without it having a little too much weight but I use it for three and it is fine. THe pole holders themselves are made out of plastic so that is why I gave it only 4 stars.

Great addition to my Boat
I absolutely love this.I like being able to store my rods out of my way.I hate an unorganized boat and dislike rods laying around even more.My boats beam was larger than the max width of the rocket launchers.I spliced in a 8" piece on the top and bottom cross bar that the rod holders mount too.If you look carefully at the pics you will see the splice. My only complaint is the rod holders are plastic.I was expecting aluminum. In the advertisement it doesn't disclose the plastic holders.Overall it's still a good value.

Did not come with any of the clamps
Just wasted an hour putting my bimini top on and assembling this thing only to discover it did not come with any of the double knuckle or knuckle clamps needed for install. Seems like decent quality and cool design but I will be returning anyways cause I’m over it.

Overall good, but not a simple install.
Get ready to cut, measure, and drill..and maybe cuss a little. Once you get it together, it feels pretty solid. I mounted it differently than the image and instructions and like it much better this way. I'd buy it again since there's limited options, but it does require a bit of fitting, cutting and re-fitting.
