Cute but too small for a syrian.
Product well built. Definitely fits a smaller hamster eg roboroski; my syrian finds the holes a bit snug. I’ve removed the steps to help with this. The plastic cover is great to see what he’s up to!

Sharp jagged edges, woodworm, holes too small
Terrible. athe only hole that measured almost 5cm was the top hole. The bottom one was around 4cm and the internal ones looked about the same. My gerbils won't fit through them.Lots of very sharp, jagged edges, dangerous.The external wood is covered in woodworm exit holes. I will not use this and do not recommend. Very disappointed as it would have been lots of fun!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
Bought this for a Syrian hamster as it states for hamsters on the ad and the holes are ridiculously small! I know hamsters love to squeeze through small spaces but this is just stupid. Maybe ok for mice and dwarfs but not for syrians! Also holes are splintered and dangerous. DO NOT BUY!!! Im going to try and sand the holes myself to try making them bigger and safer. Ridiculous!!!

DANGEROUS! MUST BE SANDED IF BOUGHT!!!
Large splinters around unsanded holes as others have said! The holes themselves are very small I had to rip the stairs out and sand each hole to make this safe for my pet. I honestly don't get why these are being sold like this especially from trixie who I believe are generally reputable well not anymore because this is unacceptable and dangerous to animals.

Einfach nur gefährlich und unpraktisch!
Wir haben dieses Mehrkammernhaus für unsere kleine dsungarische Hamsterdame angeschafft. Zunächst fanden wir es toll, da die kleine Dame es sich schnell darin gemütlich gemacht hat.Allerdings stellte es sich zügig als sehr unpraktisch heraus. Das Haus steht auf dem Boden des Nagariums, damit es nicht absacken kann, falls sie es unterbuddeln würde. Da der Käfig hoch eingestreut ist stellt uns das vor Probleme, wenn die Kammern gesäubert werden müssen. Der Hamster hat sich eine der unteren Kammern als Pipiecke ausgesucht hat, womit wir also leider häufiger zum Säubern das ganze Haus ausbuddeln müssen.Heute dann die Vollkatastrophe. Die beiden Treppen sind so eingebaut, dass sowohl davor als auch dahinter ein ziemlich kleiner Spalt bleibt, durch den sich der Hamster tatsächlich durchgequetscht hat. Rein ging mit viel Mühe, nur raus nicht mehr. Sie steckte hinter der Treppe fest und schrie. Wir haben die Treppe jetzt entfernt und die Kammer mit Heu aufgefüllt, doch jetzt hat sie Schwierigkeiten in die Kammer darüber zu kommen.Sorry, aber das ist wirklich eine gefährliche Fehlkonstruktion.Leider können wir dieses gebrauchte Haus nicht mehr zurückgeben. Sehr gerne würde ich das tun.Wir können es wirklich keinem empfehlen, wenn ihm sein Tier lieb ist. Wir kann man so etwas anbieten?
