Can it dice tomatoes?

Awesome for tomatoes (make sure they are somewhat firm) when using the 1/2 inch blades. I dice tomato, onion, potatoes, Zucchini, potato, all peppers and more. I even diced shrimp, chase with diced peppers and onions to clean the shrimp from the blades.

Can you slice dried fruit like dried sticky pineapple?

It might work but you would be cleaning sticky pineapple residue from the blades steady and I guarantee you’ll get cut☹️

Originally got this because it had a 6-wedge slicer, didn't realize it was a corer for apples. Would this still work for potato wedges though?

It should work but will produce a core piece wedge along with the wedges.

What is the white part made of? Is it plastic?

I believe it’s some kind of plastic, but not a “breakable “ plastic. It’s harder than heck and I don’t think you could break it. It might have some type of nylon in it too, but it’s TOUGH!
