Q: So you put this thing on first, put the wafer in the hole and then snap the bag onto the wafer over it?

I love this belt!!! I have 2 now. You put your bag on first, then you put the belt on slipping the bag through the hole making sure that the outer section of the bag is loose and the plastic loops are under the ring of the belt. It helps to secure the bag in place and also keeps the glue securely tight. Makes bags last longer. I have worn 1 bag almost 4 weeks by using this. It also is much easier not to have leaks.

I too have 38 waist. XL was too big. Large was a more secure/ comfortable fit

Q: What happened to the waist size chart?

My husband wears a medium which is 32-34 waist

Q: How do you wash this?

My wife hand washes this for me every so often as needed. We've never been brave enough to stick it in the washer or dryer. She makes a hot water and laundry soap bath in the sink and scrubs it with one of those brushes that you would use to get your fingernails clean. She then rinses it, wrings it out and hangs it to dry. It dries easily overnight. Hope this helps.
