Compared to competitors, this system is a great value. The ease of installation of these systems makes shower installations much smoother. I do not recommend these systems for DIYers but then again I wouldn’t recommend any DIYer to attempt a shower pan installation. Ensuring they are perfectly level is crucial.This system does fall lower in quality compared to competitors, but it does stand up to them. You can’t beat the price and they give you just about everything you would need to install and complete the shower.I only wish that the seller sold additional corner patches by the piece, for the waterproofing, because they only supply enough for standard showers. If you have a bench or addition corners, you need more of them. Additionally, I wish that they offered different metal finishes for the drain grates

After using Schluter products for sometime, I was a little reluctant in trying something at a lower cost. I was very impressed with the product and the ease of installation. the adherence of the mortar to the fabric was exceptional and the drain products all worked as designed. I’ve included a photo of the finished product.

I found the product very easy to use and ample material to make a tub into a shower. The only issue was the construction of the curb, as after I installed and tiled the border into the shower it couldn’t carry the weight of a glass door and cracked when stepped on. I solved problem by removing tiles and cutting the top off, filling it with concrete and replacing the tile. Now it holds both my weight and the glass doors.

We (my local contractor) did a tub-to-shower conversion and used this Vevor shower buildup kit.According to my contractor, this was nearly the same as the better known brand, Schluter®. He said it was easy to use however, for DIYers or first-timers, there are no instructions. So we downloaded theSchluter®-Shower System Installation Handbook 2020 pdf from the internet and it worked just fine!So far so good but it has only be one week! I purchased this product mostly motivated by the low cost, for my husband's bathroom project. His experience is that it is poor quality: The thin set wrinkles when applied because the waterproofing (fabric) isn't sufficiently glued to the foam; the tile, however, will conceal the imperfections. The drain is tinny, and though it is challenging to work with, he says it's functional, and it does the job. I think he's doing great, but I'm biased . . . he's the best!

Vevor product is a very deceptive item. It looks like Wedi products, it looks like Schluter products... But the comparison is not even REMOTELY close to their quality. Shame on me for even trying to save a buck. This product is garbage. Not only that, BUT this is the important part... IT IS NOT RESIDENTIAL BUILDING CODE COMPLIANT!! So if you install yourself, and are having a bathroom inspected by your city, and the inspector does his job correctly, you WILL NOT pass inspection with this product! With that said, spend the extra money and buy the reputable, ICC stamped products. Don't cut corners. Learn from my mistake. Do NOT compromise your home with expensive water damage from this product!! Use WEDI, OR SCHLUETER BRAND! They are the two best options going this route! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!! On another note, their customer service is nonexistant as well... They have a 3rd party answering service that knows nothing of the product, and let's you know that the company will only contact via email. HUGE runaround game!I had to tear it all out and install WEDI, or SCHLUETER brand shower kits for it to be finished and compliant. Building codes are there for a reason, and ultimately protect your investments!! Follow them and build things with the correct product, regardless of saving money... It will cost you WAY more to fix anything resulting using these products!!Hope this helps!!DO NOT USE IN YOUR HOME!! MAKE SURE A CONTRACTOR DOES NOT USE THESE IN YOUR HOME EITHER!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!

Using this kit now but going to not use the curb. Sinking the shower in the floor so it will be flush with the bathroom floor with an extra floor drain under the shower door. I'm also going to extend it to have a seated area.
