I love this product. It works better than Motrin for menstrual cramps, Aspirin for sore muscles, Excedrin for headaches, Tylenol for sprains and prescription Tramadol for surgery recovery pain. Unlike with all the above listed drugs, I don’t get any side effects from this willow bark(expect a mild stomach ache if I don’t eat and keep taking it throughout the day, food always cures it). The chemical makeup of willow bark is similar to aspirin so it may cause worse bleeding from wounds, but I still took it after surgery and didn’t notice worse bleeding like I have with aspirin and Motrin on other surgeries. The bottle says to take one, and one works really well but I’ve read online that dosing can be higher so I usually take 2. I have tried other willow bark brands and this is this best one since it’s contains a higher amount of salicin(25%), which is the natural chemical that’s pain relieving. Swanson(same brand as this one) also sells another willow bark with less salicin that doesn’t work well for pain so I assume it’s probably designed for other health benefits. I haven’t been able to find another brand with such a high salicin content so this one seems special. I highly recommend it.

Due to my variety of severe allergies I am unable to take most "headache" medicines available in the stores today & must deal with my pain using natural/herbal medicines. This natural remedy is where Asprin generates from, white willow bark. It works for when I overdo work,pull a muscle or get a regular headache. This is a bit strong for me, so I use it sparingly but it also has disappeared from store availability, so am happy I can order it from Amazon. It doesn't cause any stomach disorders like stronger over-the-counter medicines and its completely from a natural source so I don't have to worry about ingredients/chemicals I can't pronounce let alone identify. The capsule is small and easy to swallow. Another great product to stock in your medicine cabinet.

It does help a little with my pain in my hands and feet. Will probably reorder.

Not all white willow supplements work well. This one is good. I take 2-3 caps for pain as needed and it lasts 5-7 hours.

This is my second order of Swanson white willow bark. I find it to be as effective an OTC natural pain reliever as I have ever found. Swanson seems to be a very quality conscious brand, I use other herbs from Swanson as well (parsley leaf). I don't think you can go wrong with Swanson, excellent products, excellent price!

I have been getting regular and horrific headaches. I have been taking way to many Advil so I did some research and bought this. I had a horrible headache today. I forgot about this and took 2 Tylenol and 2 Advil. 3 hours later I was still in tears it hurt so bad and the meds didn’t touch it. I remembered the white willow bark and took 2. Within 30 min there was a 95% reduction in my pain. I couldn’t believe it. Try it. You have nothing to lose.

i and my grandson had bad sciatica pain and i researched and discovered the white willow was similar to aspirin, so i ordered and tried it and for myself and later for my Grandson, he also tried it based on he knew it worked for me and he said it really worked for him too. So it worked for us and what may work for one may not work for anyone else, depends on the individual i think. we are not doctors and can only say what did work for us.

It was ok but not as potent as other brands. The price was inexpensive though
