Dissatisfied
This was a gift. Came damaged & scissors were so stiff it was difficult to open them. Bought a pair for a Xmas gift and those were fine. Will try again since she has a matching smaller pair. Very dissatisfied

Description incomplete - These scissors DO come with the black plastic protection sleeve
Although they are expensive, I love these designer scissors. I have a set of my own (including the matching embroidery scissors) and wanted to buy a set as a gift. When they arrived, I was surprised and very pleased to discover that they do come with the protective sleeve. The sleeve is not visible through the clear window in the box that the scissors come in, but should have been mentioned in the description. I can't for the life of me understand why it wasn't. I searched all over Amazon to find a substitute sleeve and ended up ordering a flimsy substitute before these arrived. It hasn't arrived yet, but when it does, I will return it.
