I'm a bit of an adventurous guy when it comes to trying new hair dyes, and I have to say that the Schwarzkopf LIVE Intense Colour Pure Purple was a real surprise. As someone with dark ginger hair and beard, I wasn't expecting the color to take as well as it did - but it did!No Bleaching RequiredWhat really impressed me about this dye is that it managed to penetrate my dark hair and beard without any prior bleaching. I've tried other purple dyes in the past that have resulted in a faint, uneven color, but this one delivered a vibrant, long-lasting purple tone.Intense ColorThe 'intense' part of the name is no joke - this dye packs a punch! The color is rich and saturated, and it really brings out my natural ginger undertones. First time dying, so used on virgin undyed brown hair (see before and after images) and it turned out really well. Used the whole bottle and left on for just over 30 minutes.Super easy to apply and did not stain skin at all, nice floral smell, and comes with a good conditoner sachet. Colour is very vibrant in direct sunlight, and more midnight blue indoors.Would suggest leaving the conditoner in for at least 5 minutes and avoid washing (even with water) for the first 2-3 days to maintain as much colour as possible as some does wash out (hence 4 staes). My hair is super brittle and thin, so long conditioning was a must for me.

Have to use 2 boxes, I was fairly light anyway but does tend to make hair quite orange so would need to be redone as soon as your hair allows
