4lb sledgehammer
Works well, had a 1/2" steel winch frame bend from use and was able to just hit it a couple times and knock it back flush. All good to go now. Price is fair and would recommend.

This hand sledge is well made. It is very ergonocic- meaning it provides maximal hitting power when holding the far end. It is made of quality materials. It compares well with other hand sledges with more well-known name brands.

A hammer for the lng term
I use this hammer primarily for driving stakes or posts and breaking rocks. If anything, the handle is too light, but technique can accommodate this. Let the hammer do the work. I was amused by an old mechanic who, when he was working on heavy equipment was heard to day "Don't force it. Get a bigger hammer." This one is big enough.
