The media could not be loaded. I have an old fireplace that needs ceramic tile work. I found this gem on Amazon and this was an inexpensive, quick fix for my fireplace. I was surprised how realistic this insert looks. I didn’t buy the model with fireplace sounds, I used my Alexa and searched “fireplace sounds” and it works just as well. As others reported, the heater doesn’t throw enough heat to warm up a large room but I still like the feature. The remote is another nice feature, there are controls on the fireplace insert itself without having to use the remote. My remote works fine when I am sitting on my couch, I don’t have to get that close to the fireplace for it to turn on and heat. The flames flicker and the colors are beautiful, for a fake fireplace, it is really nice. It’s obviously fake but I love it!! I took this picture while it was still light out and it still looked cozy. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this fireplace electric insert . The best part is I don’t have to deal with after fire smell or ashes to clean! I highly recommend this product.

This was easy to hooked. I love it. It kicks out nice heat and the flame is very pretty to look at. I would use it more often But one of my dogs hate it. I have the wood crackling noise off but he runs in the other room. The other dog could care less if it was on. Not sure what is going on there.

I'm so happy with this purchase! It has transformed my ugly black hole of a fireplace into a pleasing and useful feature, heat included. There is no scooping ashes or filling up the house with smoke, just an instant "fire" when I press the power button. The color variations are subtle but nice. I didn't expect it to be so nice for the price.

Works well, fairly realistic, and it has heat if you want to warm up the room a little. Overall, a good value compared to much more expensive inserts, especially if you already have doors on your fireplace or don't want doors.

This is one of the best things that I bought for this cost. I had a gas fireplace, but didn’t feel safe with my toddler twins running around and had it temporarily removed so I can have this inserted. Just makes me feel safer with little kids around. It is absolutely gorgeous. And unlike a gas or log fireplace, I can close the opening at the top of the fireplace so bugs don’t come in, there’s no dark stain for me to wipe down every time from my mantel, the fireplace is always clean, and it’s actually warm in my living room.

The media could not be loaded. So I have a real wood burning fireplace that works but it's dirty, expensive to buy logs, and leaves residual soot on everything. So I wanted the convenience of faux wood burning logs for the convenience and ambience of a fire. This suits my needs. Granted, compared to a real fire it's somewhat fake but the ambience it creates is worth it. The crackling sounds are definitely not realistic. I liken the sound to the sound battery operated candles make. It sounds like crackling metal is the best way to describe it. I just keep it on the lowest sound level which helps.This was relatively inexpensive. Comes with a remote to control level of flames, heating element, and color of flames. The heater doesn't do much to heat my room but I really don't need that option.All in all it's a good product and I hope it lasts!

Horrible Return Policy!!! Don’t even bother!We received this “Electric Fireplace Log Heater” and right on the box it states“WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm”. THAT’S IT!!!I have attached a photo of the warning, because it typical for a warning to say something like, “Product may cause cancer…”, or “product is made with possible carcinogenic materials”. I went back and read every line of the product description, and product information tabs to determine if I possibly missed this warning. Well, no I did not. The warning is not stated anywhere. I then requested a return and found out that TURBRO has you print out a return label and YOU the consumer are responsible for the cost of returning the item!I took it to USPS and they were going to charge $43 to ship it back! I took the box back and called the “customer service” number that was provided which just sent me to a voicemail to leave a message. The recording on the voicemail stated “if you don’t hear back from us go ahead and send us an email!!So, TURBRO, is selling an item that states on the box and no where else that the product, “WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm”, makes you pay the shipping cost to return it and provides a customer service phone number which just sends their customers to a voicemail, with a message that makes one think, “they are never going to return my phone call”!AWFUL !!!
