I used the product for 30 minutes and found it to be quite responsive, however, it flooded and is now completely useless. I have been in the marine business for 15 years so I know how to make something water tight. Complete waste of 122dollars +shipping cost.

And the item works amazing. It vibrates makes a sound and has a light on it and it works awesome. I’ve used it now. Couple times scuba diving.

I took this metal detector, snorkeling, five different days for an hour at a time or more each time. I’m still on the same battery 19 V battery it turns on and off exactly as explained. I left mine on the whole time that I was in the water didn’t find any diamond rings or Spanish coins ha! However, I did find metal objects it’s kind of astounding when you think about the square footage hundreds of thousands of square feet of sand on the bottom of the ocean the chances of you running into even a bottle cap difficult to calculate…. It was a lot of fun felt like we were on a treasure hunt and the nice part about it is while you’re snorkeling you’re looking for shells and you’re looking at fish and you’re looking at your beautiful surroundings. You don’t have to pay attention to the metal detector. You just let that sweep back-and-forth… you don’t need to watch it because when it vibrates it wakes you up and let’s you know that it just hit on something and so you don’t have to miss the beauty while you’re sweeping hoping that the metal detector finds some thing. pretty perfect!! I think it’s very well-made. It seems tough and sturdy. I actually used it sort of like a spoon to pop something up out of the sand and let some children on the beach play with it and they found some bottle caps and felt good about cleaning up the beach 🙂very nice. I bought this after unfortunately losing my wedding ring in a bag of trash. I honestly had pretty low hopes because this bag of trash was massive, disgusting, and full of soggy newspaper... But after about 15 minutes with this metal detector, we found the ring! Would have never found it without this thing so it's easily the best money I've ever spent. Highly recommend - especially if you're desperately searching for lost valuables! Easy to use, lightweight, and obviously very accurate.

It works! But, unfortunately, so far it's just been a very expensive trash collector. I've found lots of bottle caps, coins, paperclips, and empty cans of sardines. But, it is very sensitive, and if there were jewelry out there, I bet you it'd find it! Battery life is a little on the short side, but still lasts a surprisingly long time.
