Worth every penny for that Shark quality.
The media could not be loaded. In my opinion, this is worth absolutely every penny they charge. Initially I thought the price was quite steep for only 8 minutes of battery time but it’s important to remember that you’re not using this as a proper vacuum. This is a handheld vacuum for doing spot cleaning such as a spillage or small areas of cleaning. For a proper cleaning you would use a full size vacuum. 8 mins is a long time when you are spot cleaning only.I’ve always liked Shark products because I feel they are well put together, everything is easy to understand and well explained, the products work without having any issues and the customer service from Shark is second to none. I have been eyeballing this handheld vacuum ever since I saw Mrs Hinch use it on her feed a couple of years ago but I’ve always put myself off due to the high price point. We’ve recently moved to a bungalow which is mainly hard floor so I sweep every day and no matter how many times I go over with the dustpan and brush to collect the pile, I always end up missing some. So I wanted a handheld vacuum just a little areas of spot cleaning around the house and instead of paying less for a cheap model, I decided to treat myself and I am so glad I did.As usual, always up to Sharks high standards. The product is well packaged, includes two different attachments to go on the vacuum, it’s easy to clean, easy to maintain and is effortless. The stand sits on top of the charging dock which means that the vacuum easily slots on to charge not use and you can put the two attachments neatly behind to keep it together as a unit. It’s very small and doesn’t take up much space so I have it in the corner of my kitchen plugged in and I use probably every day to vacuum up some mess in the house. I use it to clean up the piles from sweeping the hard floors, I use it to clean around my window sills in my conservatory and anything else I need I for and it picks up every bit as well as a full-size shark vacuum. There is a quick release button on the top which is easy to empty into the bin and then you can remove the filters to clean as you would with any other shark vacuum. One other benefit for me is that in our property we get lots of little spiders and this vacuum is absolutely perfect for going around and scooping them up. They don’t escape the vacuum but more importantly it isn’t strong enough that it kills them which means that I can take it outside and then press the quick release button to put them safely back outside where they belong. Much easier to reach them when they’re hiding around on the ceiling where my short height can’t reach.Honestly, I think it’s worth the money and personally I don’t see the need to have twice the battery life. I wouldn’t use this to clean my car; I would either get a cheaper model or more than likely I would just use my full-size vacuum that I could plug-in so that I could take my time. I think cleaning your car even with 15 minutes worth of battery is a push if you’re having a proper hoover but in terms of picking up crumbs off of the seats, in terms of vacuuming up small spills or cleaning your couch… The possibilities really are endless and I think it’s personally worth every penny to get that Shark quality

Worth the money for the brilliant suction power
This has almost the same suction power as my Shark upright vacuum cleaner. I have bought cheaper ones in the past and they do not have sufficient suction power, so spending the extra money was well worthwhile.A nice touch is that you can leave it on the charger base with no damage to the battery (according to their claims.) obviously I cannot vouch for that claim yet.The dirt holder is quite small, and because it is so efficient it fills up fast, which is not a problem as emptying it is also fast. Some reviewers have said they have to poke around the sides of the filter to get all the fluff and dirt out, but all you have to do is lift the filter holder up and it all falls out. One thing to do frequently is pull out the filter itself,(easy to do) and give it a knock on the side of the bin as it gets clogged up very fast. If you don't do that, the suction power will be reduced. It's all very quick and easy to do so no problem.

Just short of “Absolutely Excellent"
This is an EXCELLENT product. The main concerns I had in sourcing a handheld vacuum cleaner, were:1. Would the suction be powerful enough?2. Would it be compact and sufficiently lightweight?3. Would the price be right?4. Would it be aesthetic enough to be ‘on display’ (for prompt and efficient access)?Well, here we go:1 - Yes, the suction is surprisingly powerful even on the default setting. Using the ‘turbo-boost’ button increases what is already ample for everyday use.2 - Very compact and ergonomically pleasing and comfortable to use. However, although I find it very lightweight, I can imagine there may be some people (particularly 'of slight-physique’ women) who may find it heavy for constant use without a break, but… who knows.3 - I think it’s a little on the pricey side, despite my assessment of it as a great product.4 - Very aesthetically pleasing, supplied with an effective and nice charging cradle for supporting the wand and for storing the brush accessories (see photos). I can easily access the wand for quick use in my surgery rather than going to the hassle of having to drag my upright Shark model through and then take it back again.• Downside:Inside the dust-cup reservoir there is, either side of the filter, a deep gap in which dust, fluff, grime and all the other usual and expected guff can become trapped. These crevices don’t release the guff merely by opening the compartment as instructed, but have to be eked out using (in my case) a pencil. There is no dedicated tool supplied for this purpose… and that’s a shame. Although not a particularly huge deal, it does present for a somewhat lacking ‘non-feature’. This is very disappointing.Because of the high price and the lack of a suitable tool to eke out the trapped dirt, I’ve reduced what would otherwise be a 5* rating to a 4*.Nevertheless, I’d still recommend it, but with slight (only slight, though) reservation. Let’s say I’m 'ecstatically-pleased’ but with a small ‘minus’ attached.

Outstanding
With the Shark Wandvac you get what you pay for. Beautiful design and very functional. Way better than the cheap Chinese import we have been using for a couple of years (which just died). Plenty of suction even with the attachments. The quick-empty feature is very clever - just push a button and the plug of debris is ejected into your bin. Eight minutes run time is not an issue - you are probably only going to be doing small jobs in a hurry - like crumbs on the sofa or hairs on the car seat. We use it a lot for those little corners and gaps which the Gtech upright doesn't reach. We recommend de-dusting the filter every two weeks - a month would be too long. Do it outside with the wind behind you! Use an old toothbrush if necessary.
