iPhone 13 Pro Max and Qudelix 5k
Works perfectly with my Iphone 13 Pro Max and Qudelix. I didn’t have any of the issues with loose connections that some other reviewers mentioned, fits snug and i usually have the qudelix dangling from the phone from a car mount vertically and seems secure. Has enough length to bend it back if you mount the dac behind your phone without causing stress on the connectors. YMMV. Its expensive for what it is, but considering the alternative of using a camera kit this is worth it in my book.Something to note, when I checked the battery in the Qudelix app, it was actually drawing power from my phone and wasn’t using its battery which personally was preferable for me. Didn’t need to disable charging either, works out the box.If you’re on the fence about which otg cable to buy for this specific use case, I’d pull the trigger and avoid any future headaches with the cheaper options on here.

Works great!
I bought this to replace the stiff OTG cable that came with my Tanchjim Space DAC. It because it sounded amazing as it was, but I feared it would ultimately compromise the USB port on my phone. So I bought this little guy to replace it.My concerns were eased when I gave this one its first test drive. It sounded every bit as good as the Tanchjim cable I replaced, AND it's extremely flexible and seems rugged enough, though time will tell if it really is. For now, though, I'm very happy with the purchase and didn't have to take out a loan to get a great value in2 an audio cable!

the connectors are defective junk and slight wiggle disconnects the device!!!
In short:Cables from GUCraftsman caused a LOT(!) of aggravation because of their "hidden" failures!ALL USB-C connectors from this seller ARE GARBAGE – they DO NOT WORK as expected!!!A bit more details/explanations:Purchased GUCraftsman’s “USB-C to Lightning” short cable first (to connect my previous iPhone to brand new external hi-end DAC/Amp (came with USB-C to USB-C short connecting cable only - no Lightening) for Hi-Rez music over to wired $600 IEM earphones). From day one I experienced disconnects, while playing music and accidentally touching that short cable, or when sliding that DAC/iPhone “sandwich” into my jacket pocket stopped the music...The USB-C port on that DAC had some slight wiggle to it and I blamed that device’s connector/port itself.Replaced that DAC/Amp ($650) – same issue...Made my peace with this inconvenience – I thought it is a design flow/defect on all those DACs and simply had to always be super careful, while holding that iPhone/DAC “sandwich” to avoid the interruptions (felt like it disconnects for a moment and I had to click “Play” again).Recently I’ve upgraded to iPhone 15 Pro Max (with USB-C port) and had to purchase new variant of the same GUCraftsman’s cable, but now with USB-C at both ends.Purely by accident I’ve noticed that now music stops even when the iPhone end of the cable is slightly touched.I’ve looked for the original short connector cable that came with DAC (came only with USB-C, hence previously I’ve had to purchase “USB-C to Lightning” short connecting cable and then for the new iPhone I’ve got the USB-C to USB-C, because I’ve already got used to that nice looking, soft “woven” cable from GUCraftsman).Wiggling either end now (using original USB-C cable that came with the DAC) doesn’t interrupt the music/connection. Works nice and steady, no more issues!Final verdict – that piece of s#!t GUCraftsman caused me miles of my nerves (convincing hi-end company that their DAC has loose connector/port and replacing that $650 device!!!), besides the annoyance of constant disconnects while on the move.STAY AWAY FROM THIS NICE LOOKING CABLE (and the MOST EXPENSIVE, comparing to ALL others, offered on Amazon) – exterior is a fake – looks hi-end, but works like free junk that comes with cheapest garbage from AliExpress. Looks do not affecting the functionality much. And by actual functionally – IT IS 99.9% GARBAGE!!!And the company is also a CHEATING GARBAGE – apparently ZERO quality assurance – each of 3 USB-C connectors (both cables) failed the same.GUCraftsman is cheating customers out of their money (again, it doesn’t break the bank, but it is still 10 TIMES (!) MORE EXPENSIVE than others – nice profit margin, !!!)Shame on GUCraftsman!!!Another junk from China (but this one is dishonestly overpriced like 10 times, on top of that) – never changes – always a junk – cheap or expensive – same s#it!!! (it upsets much more, if you hoped the high price honestly guaranties verified quality)...Does NOT deserve any “thanks” or my “regards” at the end,Pissed-off Customer

Not worth
The cable causes static noise when it is angled a-bit too tight and recently had to start plugging it multiple times to get it to work.

It’s a usb-c cable, that is all.
Looking back, it’s honestly justified. The cable probably never even broke. I was probably just plugging it in the wrong way. 💀

Well Constructed OTG Cable
I bought this cable to connect my iPhone 13 Pro Max to my Hidiz S9 Pro dac/amp dongle. This cable set up with this dongle really works great. I usually use my KZ ZAX with okscs upgraded headphone cable with a 2.5mm balanced connection. Really excellent sound with a lot of detail and decent soundstage. This set up also does not impact any of the frequencies as they all sound very well represented with tight lows but still able to bring the thunder, mids that are clear and detailed with good imaging and sense of space and highs very clear without being harsh or fatiguing. The GU Craftsman OTG cable makes solid connections at both ends and looks and feels sturdy and made of quality materials. I have been using this for some months now without issue. I would recommend this if you are in the market for something like this to connect your iPhone or iPad with a lightning connector.

Update: Great Customer Service
It seemed like a great cable for my DACs, but after a few months, the USB C connector became so loose that it actually fell out of the dongle. I have a second, newer one that still fits properly, so I’m extremely cautious with it. For this price, I’d expect it to last longer than others I have.Update: After this review, GUCraftsman contacted me, offered a full refund, and asked for a second chance. I agreed, received a refund, and re-purchased the OTC cable. I am always impressed with companies that stand by their products with 100 percent good customer service. This is such a company! The new cable is great!

Works great with my DAP and my iPhone
It's a great cable that doesn't break easily from the edges and it works really well with my DAP and my iPhone.
