Perfect Zero Waste Sunscreen Alternative for Sensitive Skin!
I have been using this product for the past 4 months and have love love loved it! I wanted a zero waste skin care alternative to my daily skincare routine and found this on amazon. I was a little worried since I have sensitive skin that is already a on the more oily side rather than the dry side but it didn't make me break out at all.It takes about 20 minute for the sunscreen to set in and for it to lose the dreaded sunscreen white face, but after that I have no issues with it throughout the entire day.I have used about a finger nail amount every time I apply it (once in the morning and once in the afternoon) and still have more than half the container left. I never got a sunburn on my face after making the switch! On an additionally happy note, I do a lot of flying for my job where I am gone for a few weeks at a time and I have never had problems with the TSA bringing this with me through security, saving me so so much on the little travel sized bottles :-D.One of my personal favorite zero waste finds!

Worth Every Penny!!
First I want to note: SPF 30 has basically the same effectiveness as SPF 50.Now, I’ve always been skeptical of sunscreen, opting to forgo it completely instead of putting chemicals on my body and my children’s bodies. After researching, I decided to get this sunscreen, which is free of those cancer-causing chemicals, non-nano, and safe for the ocean. The tin it comes in seems small, but it goes really far. It was used daily by two people for a week on vacation in Florida and we barely scratched the surface of it. My son used it on all exposed skin (legs, arms, face and neck) and never got a sunburn at all. I used it on my shoulders and my face and didn’t burn, and it didn’t clog my pores. However, I DID burn everywhere I didn’t use the sunscreen, so I used it consistently afterward and was just fine. My other son was on a cruise with his grandparents in the Caribbean, using the same sunscreen and didn’t burn at all. After the consistent usage, there should still be enough the last the majority of the summer.Im highly impressed with this sunscreen and will buy more.

Responsible seller, good product
I ordered these in the end of December, for use in the spring and summer. Unfortunately for me, I did not notice that sunscreens I was sent expired only 3 months later, in April 2024. Very poor customer service to send a product so near its end of life. Unsurprisingly, product smells bad, has separated, and is clearly expired. Return window ended by the time I noticed, so all I can do is write this review and hopefully save others the disappointment.***Review update: Seller was very good about refunding once alerted about the expiration issue. The one tin that was not expired worked well. Goes on smooth and the tin is surprisingly convenient. Only issue, which I can live with, is that the product is a bit sticky on skin (does not fully absorb). I love that the product is plastic-free.

Not what you would expect
At room temperature the cream more resembles a paste in the container. I would say it handles very similarly to hair styling cream if you've ever used such a thing. The nice thing about that is that the product is very dense, so a little goes a long way in my opinion. Rubbing it between your fingers or hands to melt it down and make it more spreadable is highly recommended, which it probably says in the instructions, but I didn't read those. It does go on and feel oily at first, which I personally don't like, but it does set after a few minutes, leaving my face looking more dewy than oily I would say, which is nice. It does stay on throughout the day, but if you wear glasses or fabric face masks, be warned that it will smear/spread to anything on your face a bit, which is the only major downfall to it. I've tried rubbing it in vigorously to my face, thinking that it'll thin out more with heat and absorb better, but that isn't the case. I won't say it leaves items on your face COVERED in it, just some slight smudges of it will be left behind on the item when you take it off your face. Glasses/Sunglasses wearers beware, if you have trouble with keeping your glasses up on your nose, this will add a little resistance at first, but if out in the sun, it will cause them to slip a little more as the product thins out slightly in the heat/direct sunlight. Overall, once I became more familiar/skilled at applying it and compensating for face wear, it is an excellent product that I would absolutely recommend.

Expired when arrived
It’s probably good but the sunscreen I got was already expired and it was delivered on march 4th 2025.

Easy To Spread, Effective Protection Sunscreen
The media could not be loaded. I've been on the hunt for a zinc oxide sunscreen that didn't have strange or toxic chemicals in the formulation and this is the best one I've found. I LOVE the simple, real ingredient list. I also love that it comes in a metal tub so I don't have to worry about it absorbing any plastic. As for performance, this is a 10/10. It's solid in the tub, but comes out really easy with no body heat or excessive rubbing required. It also spreads onto the skin smoothly. In addition to offering effective sun protection, it also provides moisture and a nice sheen to the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I have fair skin, but it absorbs so easily that I suspect it would work well for a range of skin tones without being too ashy. It also works great under makeup. The sunscreen a slight smell at first, but it fades within minutes.I highly, highly recommend this sunscreen!

Organic
This product ticks all the right boxes: it's organic, non-toxic, reef-safe, and cruelty-free. The fact that it's also water-resistant makes it perfect for beach days or outdoor workouts.I love how it goes on smoothly and doesn't leave a white cast, unlike other mineral sunscreens I've tried. Plus, the packaging is plastic-free, which aligns perfectly with my efforts to reduce plastic waste. It's rare to find a sunscreen that protects both your skin and the environment.Overall, highly recommend this sunscreen to anyone looking for effective sun protection that’s also eco-friendly. 🌞🌊🌿
