I bought these to deter squirrels and annoying birds. These are 100% effective and compared to other snakes on amazon, these are HUGE! You definitely get way more than what you pay for. The photos really don't do it justice as to how big they are. These guys also have a flat rubber bottom which allows them to be sturdy and keep their realistic expression intact. You can even stack them on top of each other so that they make a big snake pile for decorations. The snakes work well to keep the pests away. This is important so that nobody gets hurt, not to mention it's much easier than covering the soil with planks or cardboard. If you have bird or squirrel problems and want a humane, eco friendly solution, you need to buy this. Also these are great for party packs, gag gifts and halloween decorations!

Update July 2019: These rubber snakes continue to get lots of workouts at my grandson's house. He told me again yesterday (without prompting) how much he still likes them. When there are a bunch of his friends around, they are pulled (literally and figuratively) into made-up games. I think that, as a toy, they encourage imaginative play, and provoke pure fun. [Previous review follows, and it's all still true.] My 5-year old grandson wanted these desperately, so I gave in. He was anxious for them to arrive, and was waiting for the package. Fortunately, they arrived quickly, much faster than things I actually NEED! It's been a couple of months now, and he still plays with them almost daily, and they work well playing with other kids - enough to go around. They're tough, and don't seem to mind rough treatment -- being pulled and thrown. In a perfect world, they would probably deserve 5 stars, but, hey, it's a bunch of rubber snakes. They were just as described, not stiff but rubbery, and more fun than I imagined.

We have a huge sand box and I'm going to hide these in there to surprise the grandkids. I will tell them I hid some scary things in the sand and let them dig like crazy to find all of them.

I bought these to keep rabbits and squirrels out of my garden and landscape. And it actually seems to be working? I like these because they are brightly colored and the cobra head stands up. They seem like they will last a long time outside. Also, my 5 year only let me use half because he want some to play with 😂

I bought these to lay out on my back porch such as the bar, rain barrel, bench etcetera to scare away birds. I bought these because of the price and quantity. There are a lot of snakes for the price but I definitely would not say they are realistic. The bottom is flat and hollow with just some cross support plastic so it’s not an anatomically correct snake. I still have birds hang around my back porch but i guess it could be worse if i didnt have any snakes.

I needed something to ward off mice and rats which were making themselves at home in my car in the country. I had tried ultrasonic gadgets, repellents and other non-kill methods as I do not support poisoning the environment, which jeopardizes birds of prey, most of which are endangered. No success until I made my own hand made snakes, I wanted to get a few more so I tried this pack. Word to the wise: If you're not having success with these snakes as garden guard decoys or what have you then try animating them by clipping off each snake head then re-attaching it to the body with a rigid wire so that you're making a bobble head snake. If top heavy, stake the snake. Rodents and birds are not dumb in fact they're quite brilliant and in a short time they will deduce you're decoys to be inanimate and nothing to worry about, but by animating them so that they have movement and a pest will not stick around to find out. Move them around the area regularly too, otherwise, well, you get the picture. All of the above has resulted in week three of a rodent-free, parked-in-the-countryside vehicle.

We had squirrels in our crawl space. We literally tried EVERYTHING! Strobe lights, multiple noise machines, ammonia, liquid fence, traps with various squirrel delectable's - i could go on an on. NOTHING worked. Those little a@@holes mocked us by gallivanting around up there and making babies. That is until we bought these snakes. I had very low hopes this would actually work, but it DID. We distributed the snakes in the crawl space through a recessed light hole, around the squirrel opening AND in the tree outside our house. As soon as we did this within 1 hour the squirrels vacated the crawl space, went to the top of our roof and started making this weird cry (which i looked up on youtube and found out it is a cry to other squirrels that there is a predator around). They never went back into the crawl space. We have roofers fixing the squirrel entrance but just in case we are keeping these snakes in the crawl space indefinitely! Thank you for saving us thousands of dollars in damage from nesting squirrels. I highly recommend these snakes for those little squirrel a@@holes!

Should have read the reviews.Although these are described as rubber snakes, they are hard plastic. Dollar Store quality.Boley normally has great products.Canadian customer here. Returning is a hassle.Shop smart. Read the reviews!
