Bright and clear
We purchased this for our church auditorium as a replacement for an old Samsung that was 3000 ANSI lumens. This Epson model was a great choice! We are very happy with the quality and brightness. It does make a little noise when turning on, but then it quickly quiets down. It fit our older ceiling mount perfectly and we were able to adjust it to fit our current screen, which is about 9'x9', ceiling-mounted. Even turned down to 35% brightness, it is already bright enough for projecting sermon graphics and songs during our worship services. The picture is very sharp and without distortion. 5 stars!

Excellent for all applications
As a DJ, I use this projector for all my A/V needs, but recently used it as a Monogram Projector... it was the perfect projector I needed to use in venues with numerous windows.... as in the pic, the monogram was clear.... the client insisted on the color of the monogram, but the projector made a difference in capturing the clients vision.

Finally can see the videos in our church!
This is the 4th projector that I have tried for our church and it does the job! We show the lyrics and movement videos for our Vacation Bible School and too often they are not always easy to see. Plus we do a PowerPoint presentation for the parents which is usually barely visible. We also have to use the wall as our screen and there are high windows with no blinds. Our congregation couldn't afford the recommended $10k + projectors. When I tested this projector our pastor couldn't believe the quality of the image and he was shocked at the price. If your church has been battling bright areas and cannot use a screen check this projector out! Hopefully it will work for you as it has worked for us.

This is a great projector. The image quality is good and clear. The noise is quiet. It's easy to set up and to use.

Very bright
This projector is very bright and very clear. I only say this because I used a rental of it for 5 weeks in trial. I’m super impressed with the brightness because most claim high linens but are dim and useless in a well lit courtroom. I purchased it because I used it. Great projector!

Ordered three projectors but only received on
I tried to contact the seller (BuyDirect & Save) three times, but got no response. This seller should be avoided. The projector, however, is very good.

I travel with it regularly after purchasing a Pelican case (I grew tired of showing up to cities where they claimed their projector was good only to be disappointed half the time)
If you want a reliable projector that accurately reflects colors, and is bright enough to show a presentation in a large room without turning off the lights, this is for you. I owned the predecessor to this model for 4 years before purchasing this one. While it is larger than a typical mobile projector, I travel with it regularly after purchasing a Pelican case (I grew tired of showing up to cities where they claimed their projector was good only to be disappointed half the time). If you want a portable stand, I have been pleased with the Hola! projector stand--- it fits on it just fine.

Great for small church auditorium of 300
Installed three Epson 2250u projectors in a small church auditorium that seats 300. Took down 3000 lumen projectors in which video looked washed out in the ambient light of the lit auditorium. The 5000 lumens make a big difference. Video is vibrant and clear even when all the lights are on. As with any projection setup make sure no direct lighting falls directly on the screen. I will upload pictures soon
