Neem Water is applied to eyes to clear toxins. Most of the Herbal or Ayurvedic Eye Drops has Neem. When Neem water is applied to eyes, it causes the tear glands to release tears and clean the tissues of the eyes. This is absolutely normal. Running nose is caused due to the Azadirachtin, the active ingredient in Neem. This is absolutely normal. Some people get running nose with fragrances, some with herbs also. It depends on individuals. Ideally, neem should be applied along with fuller's earth in form of a paste to treat acne. Fuller's earth absorbs the impurities while neem treats acne. Application of Neem Powder alone may not be very beneficial. It won't stay on the skin also, for long time. Fuller's earth will act as an excellent binding agent and addition of fuller's earth will reduce the watery eyes.
