I was about to throw away my old blender, and found this repair kit. A quick and easy job to replace the impeller with this kit, and now the blender is back to full working condition.

These replacement parts worked exactly as expected.The included wrench goes under the toothed coupler being replaced to engage with the flat on the blender shaft. You have to rotate the toothed coupler to find the flat. I used a channel lock wrench to grab the old toothed part and spun it clockwise (reverse thread) versus the stationary wrench to remove it.The new coupler just spins on counter clockwise (reverse thread) until hand tight. The blender will seat it to a reasonable torque.I really like living in the era where this is an ~$8 problem instead of a $30 problem requiring OEM components/tools from the manufacturer.

I love that there are 5 in the pack, and even more that it comes with the wrench. I've replaced these couplings before, and without a wrench it's a big pain. The wrench made it sooooo easy! All this at a good price. It's hard to rate durability since the coupling is designed to break to prevent damaging the motor in event of a jam. So far it performed flawlessly.

I purchased a very cheap second hand kitchen aid mixer that wouldn’t spin. YouTube’d troubleshooting videos to try and fix it with instant success. First video I watched told me to replace the worn down spinner. Bought these bc it’s a 5 pack for a good price and I don’t know how quickly they wear out. Had it for a few weeks now and so far I’m still one the first one with no problems. I do believe I lucked up with this purchase.
