Q: Is that stand in the pics included if not what is it?

Hi, thanks for having interested in our products. We thought you would like to know that this coffee distributor does not include the stand. It just come with a distributor. Hope this message will be useful, thanks.

Q: How to dissemble for cleaning?

The entire unit is well sealed and I have not found it necessary to disassemble for cleaning, just wipe it off after use. Coffee doesn’t stick to the polished metal except around the edges, as it’s a very minimal amount.

Q: Will this replace a tamper or it just fir leveling the ouck?

Hi. Thanks for having interested in our products. We thought you would like to know that this CrossCreek 58mm coffee distributor is for leveling the ouck. It cannot be used as a tamper. Hope this message will be useful, thanks.

Q: I know how to adjust the height but how do you know what the height should be?

You adjust the height based on your grind and the basket you are using. After using the distribution tool, place your tamper on the surface of the puck and depress/tamp just as you normally would. If you get about 2 mm of travel then the depth is adjusted correctly. If you don’t get any travel when you tamp, then you have the depth set too deep (you are compressing the puck with the distribution tool). If you get too much travel, adjust the depth until you get around two millimeters of movement when you tamp.
