Princeton Dakota Paintbrush, Dark Brown

I bought these on a whim and they turned out to be a great alternative to natural bristle.They are well made, easy to clean, and in my opinion, more versatile and durable than hog.This 4 piece set typically sells for $15- $20 more at the big art dealers than on Amazon. At the price Amazon sells this set, it is a bargain- from the art stores, not so much.I'd like to pick up a couple of others in this line, however the down size to these brushes are that in my opinion they are, bought individually, WAY overpriced for synthetic brushes made in China.That being said, I'll probably end up buying them anyway.I think a #16 bright and a #8 round are in my future.Happy painting!

I have been using them now for quite some time and I find that they are of excellent quality softness is functional bristles are exceptional. Great value for your money. Really helps with my painting of portraits.

I really like Princeton Dakota brushes! The bristles are good and stiff yet resiliant and easy to clean. This particular set is a good versatile assortment of sizes and shapes.

Excellent brushes for oil painting

I plan to only but this brand fromnow on. quality, sturdy and just like butter love love love

Finding decent brushes in today’s economy is not easy even on the internet but I found the Dakota set and really like it, I think there should be one more brush for the price but it’s a decent set

I use them and clean them every day - nice and stiff for moving acrylic or oil paint on the canvas. They are nice and springy and clean up nicely with soap and water. I clean the m after every session with Murphy's Oil Soap.

I found these from another artist I follow and she recommended them. These are amazing. I love the sturdiness of the bristles yet softness. Blending is made so much easier. Love these.
