It works
I used this to fit my sony a77. It works perfect. I then bought a t-mount that screws in to this piece which allows me to insert into a 1.25" telescope focuser. I did need to use a Barlow in order to get focus

Lens cap
I ordered this because I lost my lens cap. Not the best, but does the job. Cap come off easy.

Problem with adhesive
I bought this item and at once noticed that the cap did not fit tightly on the lens like the original cap. It was loose and wiggled around when in place. I decided it was not a big enough problem to warrant returning the cap. However, the first day I used it, the lens cap fell off the adhesive dot used to connect the cap to the strap and I lost it. Now all I have left is the strap...waste of money for me!

It doesn't quite fit on my lens, a littke too small even though my lens is a 55mm. keeps popping off.

Lost my original cover. Glad I found this one at a cheap price. It works better than the original.

Poor fit
It does not fit securely. It falls off all the time. It says Canon but does not seem to be a perfect OEM type fit. Disappointed for sure.
