I am an 83 y.o. man who has had a couple of falls from tripping over the last year or so. As a result, I had been limiting my walks for exercise because I feared that I was growing increasingly unsteady on my feet. A doctor suggested that I start using a cane or walking stick. This model is sturdy and handsomely finished and, while a couple of handle versions are available, I chose the lion's head version. It is silver-colored with a "Gold" crown atop the lion's head so it is very attractive, as well as well suited for its purpose. It is also very light in weight. It can also be sawn to a shorter length if necessary with an ordinary wood saw. I didn't know it was made in Ukraine until it arrived so I felt a bonus that I had purchased something that made a contribution, though tiny, to that besiged country's economy. Since receiving it, I have been walking more frequently and for greater distances so it was truly a wise purchase.

The first thing I noticed was how it was packaged for shipping. It was very good. I have been using an aluminum Cain that I got from knee replacement. I have had no problems with it since I got it. But when you get all dressed up, it just doesn’t look all that good. This cain with the lion head with crown looks amazing. It fits perfectly in my hand. You can see the craftsmanship. This cain is priced just right.

I bought this cane as a gift for a friend and he loves it. He is a man of style, that would not use a metal can or a wooden one, but this wood he likes and he says it's sturdy and eye catchy.

This cane is phenomenal! It isn't only gorgeous and ergonomic but the customer service at Asterom is above and beyond. My cane handle got a wicked chip in it very shortly after I received it (no fault in the product at all) and when I shared this unfortunate instance with the customer support team at Asterom they didn't hesitate for a moment to remedy the problem by making and sending me a new handle piece at no cost to me! Wow! I am hopeful that physical therapy will resolve my need to have and use a cane so much but when I do need it! I'll be relying on one of many Asterom canes I intend to own.
