I recently got a new gaming PC and learned too late that it did not have the appropriate ports to plug in my headset. So I ordered this Mic Splitter, and now it works perfectly. I was worried about audio quality, but the audio is still sharp, and both the headset and microphone work fine. I'm still using it and have no complaints or negative feedback.

This headset adapter is a game-changer for my kids. It made their headset, which had separate mic and speaker connections, work perfectly on the Switch with a single connection. Now they can talk and listen to their game without blasting it through the whole house. Family peace restored, and my sanity is intact. Ordered last year, plugged it in and realized it matched my headset cables perfectly. High quality woven cable, tough plastic/silicone connections, headphones sound exactly the same volume/quality. I have had these attached to the back of my controller and I still play comfortably for hours, if you need 2 of them then this deal is the best value to quality, the only plastic is so strong, it’s been bent at about a 180 degree angle the whole time and no static or distortion at all.

The color doesn't really matter, the product works as expected, but they show blue cable and the one I got is a gray/black braided cable. Product functions fine, dont really care what color it was, just thought the seller should try to be more accurate with what your getting which is why -1 stars.

Using this to connection a pair of high-end gaming headphones to an iphone 6S (when they still had a jack.) The most important thing is that I'm getting the high-quality audio in both directions that the headphones are capable of. I had originally only been able to find poorly made alternatives that did not make a clean connection to the iPhone jack, so I got static and poor quality audio. There is so much junk on the market for next to no money. I would always be happy to pay more for something that actually works. Maybe I'm not the only one? Durability-wise, it looks promising. Braided cable and durable-looking connectors. The only thing I would change, and this seems to be an unrecognized need for everything I've plugged into the iPhone jack, is a right-angle connector. Since I use this only at a desk it's not a big deal, but I've destroyed several pairs of earbuds because of the connector sticking out. Remember the original iPod ad with the people dancing? You can't actually do that. ;-)Updating rewiew: Had to stop using this as the connector eventually started having the same static and disconnection problem that every other one I've bought had. It seems that no one is able to make this type of item for the iPhone jack. My high-end earbuds never have this problem, so it's possible, just maybe not at this price point. Like I said, would happily pay more if a quality one existed.

Using this for a regular headphone/mic setup for Xbox One. I've owned 2 of these so far. Sounds and works great for the first few months, then the audio on one side of the headset will stop working periodically when the cable is adjusted in any way. Friends will also start to hear static and buzzing noises every now and then. It's a solid product for the first few months, maybe more if you treat it like porcelain. I'm hoping that I just happened to get the only 2 defective models.
