I don’t know why this is reporting as a frequently returned item. I bought one and I am VERY pleased with it. My dog drug a gallon of water up on the bed and chewed it open while we were gone. Nice, right? Let me tell you, that mattress was bone dry when I pulled the cover off. All the covers were soaked but the mattress was perfectly protected. I’m glad I bought and you should too. I have kids and pets and I’ve bought my fair share of these over the years. This is the best one by far.

Don't expect a comfy thick top. This is a great fit for those that might have accidents. Gave it a good wash first as it had a bit of a chemical smell but came out fresh. Great item for great price.

I bought this “waterproof” cover for a 30” x 72” foam car-camping mattress. The pictures in the product description show water beading and pooling on the surface. This is inaccurate. I tested this by just pouring a small amount of water right on the top/outer layer and the water was absorbed quickly into the top layer of fabric, and wicked out to cover quite a large area, relative to how much water I poured. So, the water definitely does not bead or pool on the surface. The outermost layer is absorbent not waterproof.Then I put a paper tissue under a dry area of the mattress cover and poured more water. I arranged this so the water would pool in a small well exactly where the tissue was. I left about a tablespoon of water on the fabric for about ten minutes, and the tissue underneath was still perfectly dry. This was quite impressive as I’d never leave a spill on the mattress for that long before wiping it up.So, bottom line, this mattress cover is waterproof in that it will keep your mattress dry, but if you spill something on the outer layer it is absorbed and spreads out rather than beading so you can quickly wipe up the liquid. If that works for you, this is a nice mattress cover with a small amount of padding and low price.

The sheets and mattress pad fit perfectly and are soft to touch on the narrow twin bed we purchased for our 5 year old grandson. We chose a narrow twin bed because it fit at the foot of our bed. He likes to have a sleepover almost every week and had out grown his toddler bed. When he is not sleeping in his bed we use the bed as a handy seat to put on our shoes.

It does do what it says and keeps the bed dry since I have a child who wets the bed.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I honestly did not buy them specifically for water proofing. I had 3 beds with mattress toppers and the sheet would slip off the mattress and curl around the topper. Annoying. I bought these because they keep the topper firmly in place, are deep enough to cover both topper and mattress, are not noisy (no plastic rustling sound), and are water resistant as well. I slip the fitted sheet over it and everything stays nicely in place. Ordered one for a twin bed, then two full size.
