Excellent dog food
My Pomeranian is 11 years old and she highly approves of this dog food. She is super healthy and this is the dog food. She’s eaten her whole life. Of course, I gave her healthy table scraps.

Product excellent. PACKING HORRIBLE. LOST 5 CANS: $16.32
The media could not be loaded. Again this an excellent product, our dogs love it. However a MAJOR FAILURE at the warehouse packing facility. A case of 12 $39.16; lost 5 cans $16.32. These cannot be used, they are crushed, threat of botulism. They will need to be pitched. I'm calling Amazon to try & rectify this problem. This is the reason I quit dealing with Chewy.com. I had a 5-week auto ship with them $435/month and I lost everything in that order to crushed pet food, except for the $11 stuffed animal. AMAZON NEEDS TO PACK CANNED PRODUCT BETTER!!

Great, if you can get it!
great for older dogs, if you can get it! I've had it on auto ship, but maybe get it on time 1 out of 3 deliveries, not counting the times they lose it after shipping.

Changed to Science Diet resulted in healthier weight, no tear staining, very happy dog
My 10 year old healthy male Maltese started to experience tummy issues. He's always been a healthyeater. Picky actually. He eats once in the morning, once at night and never ever has people foodor "treats" that aren't natural. (real bones from the market) All lot was going on in our life, moving beingthe biggest issue (to a new State) so I attributed it to that.Since the vet found nothing physically wrongshe put him on Science ID prescription food for digestive care, and added FortiFlora to his diet. She also explained that dogs over 10 (he's 11) should have their food "adjusted" anyway tomake up for different dietary needs of an older dog. After two weeks on the prescription food, plus the Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora what a difference! We switched him to this Hills Science Diet Adult 7+and still used the Fortiflora. First he loves the food which is half the battle with a picky eater. But something stunning happened. ALL dark stain tearing disappeared. Completely. After onemonth and a groom his eyes and mouth are pure white. There is nothing added to this dog food. The odd thing is prior to switching him I home made his food (I can do that because it's just onesmall dog), which I made with pure white chicken breast, vegetables, and added vitamins.I think it was the vitamins that had food color dye in them. Regardless he is much healthierand while he's always been active, he just seems more "peppy".Also, he lost an entire pound and 1/2.. his weight is excellent according to the vet.Very happy.

Made the switch
I used to feed my dogs science diet kibble never getting tired of it so I switched to the can I have smaller dogs and they immediately loved it and after a short time I noticed a difference in their coat and they're older dogs they started acting more like puppies and it's just made a huge difference not in their health but in their energy levels and overall difference in my dogs are not even act like the same dogs anymore I couldn't be happier with the science Guy can food and I switch from chicken to beef periodically so they don't guitar just to give him a break

Always dented cans
This is for the manufacturers/shipper. Why are the cans always dented. ?

Great Dog Food/Poor Amazon Pricing
Too bad I won't be buying this from Amazon anymore. They just went up from $18.85 per case which was about $16.04 with the 15% autoship savings. But they decided to up the price to full retail ($22.99), not to mention hey now charge tax. Chewy is just find selling it to me for the lower price and no tax. They also package their can dog food with lids on them so the can't don't get bent. Not Amazon!I like this Science Diet, because it's one of the few, including Turkey and Barley that is lower in salt. My dog has an enlarged heart and she requires a lower salt diet. The Science Diet h/d is almost $35 per case with the vet. So, all my dogs are now eating the Beef and Barley and the Turkey and Barley. They seem to really like it and I know it's lower salt content and plus lower fat. Overall I think Science Diet makes a good product.
