Works well
So this thing is pretty great. It installs easily and functions perfectly. I am using it as a very large unloader valve for my air compressor because of the added volume of air to bleed off with the air cooler and condensation system I built. It was easy to change from normally closed to normally open by just taking out 2 screws and turning the motor housing 90 degrees.I actually spoke to a guy from the company in China. I forgot about the time difference and it was midnight there but he answered and was very helpful. He even sent me a diagram of how to change the normal state of the unit. Very helpful. This one came with 5 small wires but I only needed 2 to hook to a plug for 120V. I just omitted the other 3 because they are for indicator lights. I soldered the wires to the lead with the plug because they are pretty small. But it is rated at 120V.It works great and definitely recommend.

Wow, what a concept
Replaced a worn out drain pump for the laundry center in our RV. The old pump had been devoured by beach sand running through it eating away the bearings. The Laundry sits about 8 feet above the ground, why not allow gravity do the work using this motorized ball valve? It does and does a great job at that with very little wear and tear. There was a bit of modification to do, but all in all it beat the nearly $300 pump for this Italian made machine. I am a happy camper.

Works perfect
This valve is nice. You apply 110VAC and it opens. Take the voltage away and it closes. Miraculous. I'm being sarcastic because I tried 2 solenoid valves that didn't work. Nice quality product. Very quiet operation. Very low power consumption. My application is on for 15 minutes and off for 45 minutes, 24 hours day in an aquaponic greenhouse. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Seems decent - used for irrigation - 1 1/4"
This is made in China and seems no different than other motorized valves I looked at that were more expensive. (also made in China). I had no problem threading it to PVC. The motor housing and entire valve seems a little fragile so it would be sketchy using it in a rough environment. I purchased a 110-220V NC valve and it does work very smoothly. When the circuit is closed the valve opens and then powers down in the open position. As soon as your circuit opens, the valve closes and then powers down in the closed position.Supposed to be good for 70,000 plus cycles. for me that will be 23 years. I'll let you all know!!UPDATE: 1 out the 5 valves I bought failed after about 200 cycles. The good thing is the the valve sends a shut off signal when it doesn't open. I have the manual open but it doesn't seem to be working. Will pull it apart and post the results. I'm probably going to buy a 1/2" valve and scavenge the new controller which is the same for all body sizes.

Great Valve
The price of our old valves went up to $450 so I figured I'd give these a try. They work great and I'm going to order 5 more for other sites. We are installing these on a system that opens and closes about 6 times an hour. I will update this review after running them for 6 months or so (~25,000 cycles)For 120V hookup: Red wire to neutral, Black to hot (through a switch). When it is energized, the valve opens, when power is taken away the valve closes. (works fine with red and black reversed) The other 3 wires are for completing a loop when the valve is open or closed. (for instance if you wanted to turn on a red LED when the valve is open and a green one when it is closed) When the valve is open, green and white complete a loop. When the valve is closed, the loop is through yellow and white. One of the comments indicated that it also might work on 24V AC or DC. I will test this when I am near a 24V power source and update.

it worked for me :D
i use it to turn my sprinklers on and off with a remote controlled receptacle. it's a very good product. its not humming or getting hot while open. i combined the black and green wires to make it function ''normally closed''. black and yellow would have been ''normally open''.also, the threads are cut properly and will tighten up without leaking.
