I liked the repair kit. It is very innovative product. Mashroom puncture is good but can be done only in repair shops. That too require complete tyre removal and balancing afterwards. It is time consuming and costly.This kit does that job quickly anywhere.As far as the quality is concern, it is heavy and made up or pure metal. No plastic parts apart from handles. It looks like the kit will have a long life and will be durable.

User friendly and very usefull during ride

Please do not purchase this product. I have tried and tested this product for many days now and this is just garbage, the air starts leaking in a few days from the punched hole. The plug does not sit properly to seal it. Trust me, the best solution is just to have your old rope puncher kit. That is the best one ever. Try not to waste your money. Plus this is more expensive and tiresome than the old rope puncher kit.

I bought the one with gun. And it is very easy to use. You don't have to worry about punctures any more. Repairing punctures is a breeze now. You don't need to remove the tire to fix punctures.Some of the reviews I read/watched, suggested that I will have to remove the wheel in the case of puncure in back wheel, because gun will need some space. But I found a work around.If you come across a punctured tire, follow these steps:1. Use a car jack and raise the tire.2. Release the hand brake and identify where the puncure is by rotating the wheel. Using some soap water will help.3. Once identified, use a plier to remove the object (nail etc.) which caused the puncure.4. Rotate the wheel or turn the steering, so that you have some space to work. If it's front wheel, you can just turn the steering so that the hole is pointing away from the car wheel well. If it's a back wheel, turn the wheel so that the puncure hole points towards back and down below, away fromt the wheel well and flaps. The idea is to have enough space for the gun to move around.5. Put on the handbrake on and now use the puncture repair kit. You would be able to use the gun and there is no need to remove the wheel. Very easy![Update]But be careful. This is not suitable for all type of punctures. Only for clean, straight ones. My scooter had a puncture where a sharp nail had pierced the rubber in an angle. I tried to fix it with this kit, but air was leaking after some time. In the end, had to tow it to service center to get it fixed!!Also, don't use push the reamer too deep into the tyre. The plug need to be pushed in tight, to prevent leak.If they could find someway to use rubber glue, it would have helped. But I am not sure how, without making a mess of it!!

It's the fastest and easiest tire plug kit I've ever used. The instructions were complete, but the videos on YouTube made it easy on the first try.

Mushroom Tire Plug Kit is very useful. I had a leak in my car tire for a week now and didn’t have time to stop at tire shop, but I wanted to try it to see if this really works. Today I decided to try, and so far so good, no leak. At first I was a little confused with the instruction; the words are small and not enough information to get you going. I kind of had an idea how it worked, and in 10 minutes I figured it out. You do need pliers. while pulling the plug out of the tire with the tool. Hold the stem of the mushroom with pliers, then pull the tool while holding the mushroom stem because it’s so tightly stuffed into the chrome insert. If you keep using the tool to pull the mushroom, it might come out.
