BEST Food Ever Tried
I have a 19 year old red eared slider. She is PICKY. Prefers "junk food" over better quality like any teenager🙃At her age we have tried So MANY foods...and she consistently appreciates lesser quality...Until Hikari!Turtles create A LOT of Waste. The claim on this food, I was Very suspicious of...Until I Tried it, She Miraculously LOVES it, and in our case, Cleaner Water, Less Odor and more efficient digestion have ALL been TRUE!We no longer use a huge canister filter, but a powerful Seachem Hang-On-Back for her 90 gallon home.Regular cleanings are SO Much less time consuming. Full tank cleanings used to take about 5 cycles of empty/fill. Now I achieve the same result in just TWO!Ingredients are some of the best. No artificial colors, flavors or firming agents.Supplemented with her veggies, lower sugar fruits in moderation and occasional high-protein treats (appropriate diet for her age), this food just cannot begin to compete with anything on the normal commercial market. This is the BEST price I could find on this food; though for us, we have been willing to pay Much Higher prices at our local small business pet stores. This seller was prompt, food packaging was not wrinkled or compressed like it had been mishandled. Product is fresh with appropriate "Use By" date.

Great quality!
Started having terrible issues with big box store bought turtle food pellets turning the water green and went on the hunt for better pellets and found these that are the best pellets I have found. The turtle loves them, they do not turn the water green and they do not turn to mush right away and make much less mess than any other pellet I have tried!Very pleased with this product!

My turtle loves these
My painted turtle loves these. He has been eating them as his main source of food for many years. He is healthy and a great weight! We use an automatic feeder twice a day.

Effortless feeding.
These are a little large for my slider- but once softened, they handle them just fine. The water does not get noticeably cloudy or weird. But turtles need frequent water changes anyway so that isn’t a big deal. I like the ingredients of this food and so far I’ve had no complaints from the turtle.

The best turtle food for lazy turtle owners
This is the best food we ever bought. Our turtles seem to love it and we love that it doesn’t dirty the tank like every other turtle food does. We’ve tried countless other brands and they cloud the turtle water. We’ve been using this for years and it’s never dirtied the water. Won’t buy any other brand.

They eat it.
I have two insanely spoiled musk turtles. They took awhile to take to this food...but now they love it. Not for nothing, all the other jumbo fish they live with eat this too and love it. I have noticed my water quality does hold up significantly better with this food. When opening the bag it does have a herbal smell, refreshing compared to others.

Helps turtles with shedding
These have been helping my turtle to shed thanks to the wheat germ and other great ingredients in them. That's the main reason why I bought these. They also aren't very messy because they're not a huge pellet that they have to shred in order to eat.
