Excellent form and function
It's very well made and looks like an OEM part. The battery has plenty of capacity and supports passthrough charging. It's very comfortable to wear during rhythm games, but it'd be a bit heavy to wear for games that require rapid head turns (and I've heard that can actually cause neck damage). The only downside, which is inherent to the design, is that it's not good for reclining in chairs with headrests or laying down in bed because of how thick it is. In those cases, the stock cloth strap is best.

Great straps!
I love the extra battery and comfort! Only downside I would say is that it does feel more like a "rig". So for some casual gamers who only play for a short time, this probably won't be necessary. The build quality is amazing. Great for the money. The design makes it to where it fits really well.Overall this head strap is perfect for me.

Amazingly comfortable, amazingly functional, amazingly convenient
Holy cow, this thing is comfortable as ooooooooh. Within a few seconds of putting this thing on, I threw away the awful head strap the Quest 2 came with. It's amazing. I love. The battery pack balances the weight of the front so much better than the portable battery pack I had strapped to the manufacturer's headset. The crank handle on the back lets me fine-tune the pressure vs stability on my head. The strap over the top is almost unnecessary given how secure the back plate is. I don't think I've ever felt it. The headset slides on and off with little effort, and its rigidity makes it very easy to handle, unlike the floppy original head strap. It's perfect.Oddly enough, my favorite feature is a small thing: The arms bend upward to an extreme degree, so you can tilt the headset off your face without it falling off or digging itself into your forehead. This is huge when messing with SteamVR, working out technical issues, doing development, or just to check your position in the real world without using the grainy passthrough.Rock over London, rock on Chicago! KIWI design Comfort BatteryHead Strap 6400mAh: wow, what a difference.

Makes wearing much more comfortable allowing for longer play
The media could not be loaded. I didn't even know if I would need the battery at first since i couldn't play for longer than 30-40 minutes because of how uncomfortable the Quest is. But after getting this I have been able to play for much longer. The battery has come in handy in two ways, as now it helps extend the battery life but also provides a much needed counter balance for the front loaded Quest. It has relieved the pressure it used to put on cheek bone, which I used to try and relieve by tightening the straps more, but that would cause pain on my for head. The batty and back cushion now put enough weight (since it is balanced better it is not as noticeable) to shift the center of balance more to the top of my head (which also has a cushion). Highly recommend this addition.

Yet another must buy product from Kiwi Design. USB C plug is SUPER tight though.
Provides plenty of power for long VR sessions. Prior to submitting this review I played a 6-7 hour session of H3VR and by the time I finished the pack had fully drained and the headset battery had only gotten down to 57%. The pack drained well enough that during gameplay the headset never showed drain until the pack was completely out. I'm sure I would've at least gotten to 8 hours if I kept playing until the headset battery finally died. The weight distribution is amazing. The headset no longer presses into my face to an uncomfortable degree. You can't get rid of that completely no matter what you do but it's so much better. The materials that touch your head are also nice and soft. The cable clip keeps everything secure and nicely out of the way. The charge port for the battery is well placed and the battery indicator lights are bright and extremely simple. This product is absolutely worth the money if you want more playtime. It is also absolutely worth the extra to get this instead of the regular Kiwi comfort strap. If you're still using the original elastic straps that came with your Quest 2 this will change your whole world. Kiss the pain and headaches goodbye and instead dish it out in your favorite games for a lot longer! The one issue I had with this product was with the pack's USB C plug. I thought it was loose because it kept coming out just enough to stop charging mid game but it turns out the actual problem was I couldn't get it to plug in all the way without an outright dangerous amount of force I'm just flat not willing to apply to my headset's USB C port. I solved this by purchasing a 90 degree adapter pack from Cable Matters (B0CLZ9J2FQ, Combo - Vertical) for just shy of $10 after taxes. It took a TON of force to get it to fully click into the adapter. I don't know if it's intentional or a defect that it's so tight but it's a problem regardless. It should be snug, not a dangerously tight fit. That adapter is probably never coming off the cable. I'm 100% sure other people are facing the same issue I did based on a quick search of reviews prior to buying the adapter. If you have the same issue I had and go the route I did using an adapter make sure you plug the battery pack's cable into the adapter first THEN plug the adapter into the headset.Even if you end up needing to get an adapter it's still 100% worth it in my opinion.

Charge and comfort
I like how easy it was to install and set up, heard some reviews talking about it being complex or hard before and they definitely don't know what they are talking about. The comfort of the battery strap made me feel absolutely no discomfort or pain while playing for the hours that I did, complete game changer compared to the one provided by meta itself and I especially love how the headstrap can bend at an angle while you are using the oculus so you can quickly take it off or look at your surroundings a little easier while keeping the headstrap mostly on. And I especially love how long it is able to extend your battery life and I think it is the most optimal. For me, I just wanted a bit extra time and at the minimum now I will get 5 hours of play. And understandably, it takes longer to charge but that is how batteries work. Unless you want to fry it I would not recommend changing the voltage of your charger. Instead, continue to use the one provided or supported from meta itself.
