Dungeons & Dragons Campaign Case: Terrain (D&D Accessories)

I write a lot of silly Amazon reviews, and I thought about doing that here when I ordered this case. I opened it up to sort through it and am blown away. Everything looks great, and there’s a good variety of different terrain details too. I know it’s all 2D, but what else do you need for your home game?

This is a copy of a review I did for the Campaign case that was purchased. They are identical because everything that applies to that one also applies to this one.I was looking for some campaign maps my son could use with his friends. I know very little about D&D as it's not my thing But,this is some of the things he told me. The map pieces are well made and work great with their dry erase markers. The tokens are blank as you use a window cling to put on them and then back on the sticker sheet when done. He says they all really enjoy it because it's easier to visualize whatever is on the sticker.One thing that surprised me was the durability of the case it is well made and it was a lot heavier than I anticipated. If you enjoy D&D I would recommend this just based on my kids enjoyment of it.

High gloss battle matt and tiles are okay, great considering mass produced. Great s lection of flat scatter terrain. Grabbed this at the reduced price, so finally worth the price tag. Consider it the better of the two campaign boxes, as the creature box doesn't have a wide selection of monsters unless you want to use one at a time.

I bought this surreptitiously since I heard good things about it and it was rather small and storage space for my dnd things is something I struggle with.My players like using it and like that the larger foldable battle mat is rigid and I like that it’s double sided and features an indoor/stone color and an outdoor side. The tiles and mat wipe clean easily enough with dry erase markers.My primary concerns would be that the static clings don’t seem to be terribly sturdy for reuse. I wish they were a bit thicker and that the case featured somewhere to place the ones you are actively using/going to use. Also, the larger, foldable battle mat will likely show significant wear where it’s folded over time with use, which is something I’ve seen with similar products.
