This was my first time trying butyrate and it exceeded my expectations, as someone with gut issues I noticed the irritation/ intermittent mild pain in my sides has completely gone after just a couple of days of taking it, it also keeps me regular. The benefits continue on and I am sure it does a lot of good that may not be necessarily obvious on the surface.I did have a bit of a breakout on my face for the first few weeks, but that then went away and I do not think it is a negative, to me it only proved again that the supplement is working as my gut microbiome must have been affected by it for it to reflect on my face. Very pleased but please, please stock 90 capsules again as it was better value and more convenient, especially as I take 2 a day most days.

I've been experimenting with different supplements to try to optimise my health for over 10 years and this is one of the few products I consider to be essential.It gives me a noticeable boost in mental clarity and general energy. Joints feel better and immune system seems more resilient so I reckon it is helping to lower inflammation. Prior to using this product I used to have serious issues with fungal overgrowth (candida) and had to follow an incredibly strict diet to stop things from getting out of hand. I now can enjoy a more relaxed diet while still keeping my gut and bacterial balance in check. I have tried some of the other leading butyrate products and found them to be very ineffective. These capsules are enteric coated, quite robust and manage to actually make it to the lower intestine and nourish the epithelial cells.

It's hard to tell if it's working - but I assume it is what it says it is. I consumed them for a while after having to take antibiotics. The last batch however smelt very rancid despite being in date - and unfortunately I'd just missed the return window - so it's now a very expensive plastic bottle. I've decided to opt for the more natural way dietary way of increasing butyrate within the body with the same money - reheating potato being one of them (read Michael Moseley's work). If you're buying for a quick fix, I'd say open and consume in a timely way so you can return if there is a problem.

Excellent product, I always take two in the morning, can't do without, so much so that I panic when it starts running out, one of the best products I've used, just wish I could get it half price.Butyrate is possibly the best thing we can give our body, the stomach's best friend!

Not sure if it was me or the medication but they didn’t suit me had bowel problems had to stop just after taking two . It might be my reaction to them but felt it should be mentioned in case anyone else has had this effect
